Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The stairs lift was fine but the location is terrible it is in the mid of city and no Parking place I got, I have to walk 15 minutes with my baby to the Parking plaza and then come to the apartment also one has to get through the bar to get keys which is quite uncomfortable with the family.

GermanyThe area is not the nicest to walk around in the evenings but it is the center of Liege. There was some mold in the corner of one of the windows but I forgot to mention it at checkout. I toaster would have been a nice addition but it was not really necessary as we toasted our bread in the oven. There was also a menu for the restaurant down stairs in our apartment, but they did not deliver or allow for takeout. However there are many small grocery stores nearby if you want to cook in the kitchen.
The location was quiet even though it was in the city center. The apartment was on the 3rd floor but there was an elevator. It was very near the parking garage, Parking was 15 Euro a day. It also had a clothes washing machine that was not listed in the apartment listing.

GermanyThe staircase was very small and tiny also it was not easy to get to the entrance - it was not straightforward. The Philips Senseo coffee machine was not maintained for a long time, so it was leaking coffee allover.
There was a parking lot available for us for free. Upstairs, we had a large flat, sufficient space for Breakfast and Leisure time. There was a baby-bed in the corner, despite it was announced that there is none available - so a ++ for the host. The shower was quite comfortable.

GermanyUnfortunately, Google maps wanted to take us to the adjacent street (Rue de la Violette), which was impossible due to closed streets (road works). Rue de l'Epée 4 (stated in the French version of the message from the host) will work better than Rue de l'Epée 2 (stated as the address in Booking.com). Toilet seat loose (easy to fix). The lift and the staircase are a bit cramped.
Good instructions beforehand from the host. Large, newly refurbished modern apartment, large TV, kitchen. Location in the center. Check-out by 12. "Reception" is at the adjoining bar/restaurant, so check-in times are quite flexible.

United KingdomLiege is a building site so accessing the town centre was a nightmare. Google was not helpful becdause of this and Belgian drivers and pedestrains are ruthless.... there was a 40m crane in the next street and rubbish all over the place. That is why some of the above scores may seem negative.
The keys were kept at a local restaurant/bar and the barmaid took us to the flat. The flat is much bigger than expected and has a cool industrial wharehouse/left vibe. It is quirky with unexpected nooks and crannies all over the place. Beds comfortable. Good soap, etc. Free coffee (Nespresso!) and tea. DEfinitle worth coming back to when the regneration of the local area has been completed.

CanadaIt was difficult to locate without knowing to go into the restaurant. There needs to be a sign indicating the location. The 200 euro deposit was a bit shocking but it makes sense. Letting people know before booking would be advisable.
We loved the space, full kitchen, multiple sitting areas and balcony. Very cool feel and location. Huge space!

GreeceThe floor is a little bit noisy. The stairs to the apartment (2nd floor) are too steep and narrow. This was not a problem for us but maybe it will be a problem for older guests or guests with big suitcases. Bathroom's curtain should be bigger in order to cover the whole window area.
