We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

GermanyI'm not sure if there were elevators, but we took the charming winding stairway up to our room. This could be challenging for larger or heavier bags. It wasn't as close as we wanted to be to the city of Ghent, but we were happy with how it turned out.
Air conditioning and free parking were great. The lady who assisted us was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, and the fried eggs were cooked just the way I liked them. Late check-in was easy because the rooms have combination locks. There were several eating establishments close by. We chose Italian, the food, staff, and atmosphere were wonderful. Overall, we had a good experience and it was a good value.

BrazilThe hotel operates without staff. Everything is automatic. My problem was that I was relying on the hotel internet but there was an issue the day I have arrived and it was fixed only the day after. Also the TV was really small for current standards

GermanyThe room that was shown while booking was different. The room which we got was very small with a broken bathroom and the host didn't even bother to inform us about it. The bathroom door wasn't working, shower door was missing. It was chaotic.

Belgiumno staff. entrance codes via mail and app. Which of course didn't work so finally had to call anyway to get a new code. If you forget your smartphone you're doomed. the strong smell of sigarettes. Clearly if there is no staff then who will check if customers smoke or not. Also the very short time the lights are on on the landing. Finally the hard mattress... am I being too negative ?
well located for a short visit to Lochristi/Oostakker. Low price. But that also means low level. The room was clean.

United Kingdomwhen you enter the property, there is a ditch outside the front and the smell you get from that when you enter and leave the building is enough to make you nauseous. There is a serious issue with the drainage system at the front of the building where water and garbage has rotted over months and months 🤢 We were asked to check in online which we did, but apart from one cleaning lady, we didn’t see a single person in the hotel and no one at reception at all. The booklet provided said to call a number of we wanted anything but had no phone in the room 🤷🏼♀️ There were no coffee or tea making facilities in the room so we popped to Lidl and bought our own coffee etc and borrowed the kettle we managed to find in the kitchen. We also came down for breakfast at 8.30am on the first day (breakfast was supposed to be 8-10) and waited around for an hour with not a soul in sight so had to go into Ghent to eat. However, on our departure morning, all of a sudden as we were leaving, someone was downstairs making bloody breakfast for the guests 🤦♀️

Germanyit was perfectly reachable although we put a wrong pin and called the manager in the middle of the night he was still really really nice and even proposed us to stay in another room just so u don’t do the same mistake I did check for ur email for the right pin for the room to enter all in all it was a perfect stay for the night ♥️
