Nothing really! A couple of the other guests arrived v late in the evening and made a bit of noise on arrival but that wasn't the host's fault and they soon settled into their room.

I couldn't fault this place - probably one of the best places I have stayed. The breakfast was lovely and the host was extremely attentive making sure you were comfortable and had everything you needed. The suite itself was so spacious, clean and homely. I felt right at home.

The toilet could only be accessed down some fairly steep stairs and this was a little inconvenient during the night.

Everything was just perfect. The decoration in the rooms and the main living area is just like staying in a museum. The owners are super friendly and welcoming and wow the breakfast was so good!

It was a beautiful room. We felt as if we were in a museum. The dining room where we had breakfast was fantastic, with a lovely Japanese garden. The bathtub in the room was one-of-a-kind and lovely. The young staff who cooked breakfast was accommodating and friendly. We had a very comfortable stay.

This hotel is an experience! the Lady of the house is very gentle, and takes the time for every guest. The hotel itself is a piece of art! This was one of the things that made our trip to Antwerpen a beautifull memory. We defeneatly come back!

Beautiful renovated house on main boulevard of Antwerp. The room was very cosy with a beautiful bathroom. The landlady is very friendly and cooks a very good breakfast for her guests. A very nice place to stay.

We were unaware that the property wasn’t a traditional hotel which isn’t a problem in itself but we checked into the wrong room. We inadvertently “upgraded” ourselves because there was no one there to show us to the room and we had been traveling the entire day so we didn’t read the long message sent on the booking.com messenger. I think highlighting this early on would be of great help!

Beautiful property, very central but out of the hustle and bustle of the touristy areas. Great to get back to your room after a day out in Antwerp. Lot’s of great bars, restaurants and coffee shops in the area with the tram station just a few meters away from the entrance.

I couldn't ask for better, everything in this apartment exceeded by our expectation! Eric greeted us when we arrive and he was just so lovely. We got the angel room and the decoration is just magical! To our surprise our room was a duplex with an extra kitchenette & terrace overlooking the Japanese garden. We took breakfast on the 2nd day prepared by Lydia and oh man, it had got to be most luxurious (yet home-y) breakfast I've ever eaten! I had a beautiful conversation too with her that make my stay even more meaningful. :) Thank you so much!

A hidden gem in Antwerp! The suite was beautiful and we loved the history of the monumental house with its antique furniture. The hostess was very friendly and considerate. It felt like coming home.

Our room was up several flights of stairs and there's no lift. We didn't have a problem with this but you should be aware of this if you are unable to manage stairs easily.

Old town house with characterful rooms, tastefully decorated. Very convenient for the KMSKA (the fine arts museum) and a pleasant walk into the historic centre of the city. Easy access to the tram network for journeys further afield or if you're tired. Fantastic breakfast and friendly and helpful owners.

Excellent breakfast for an additional charge. Definitely worth it as Lydia is an amazing chef. Incredible design and comfort in the rooms. Very large and decorative rooms with wonderful amenities. Friendly and helpful hosts who are very responsive in communication and offer local suggestions.
