Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Bulgaria"Don't distrub" signs to put on the door are definitely needed. Any activity in the corridors (like door slamming) could be heard, but this is a YMMV thing.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a quiet suburban neighbourhood, a bit far from the centre, but the public transport is very convenient, even on weekends. The room and the breakfast were nice.

Great out of city location with easy access to the centre close by, via tram, e-scooter and the Metro. Clean and comfortable, friendly staff, good breakfast and great value for money. Lovely to have access to the outside seated area at the back and front of the hotel, door straight out of our room.

BelgiumThe inn needs a bit of love and investment. Our TV didn’t work at first, although it got fixed by the end of the day by our helpful receptionist/manager. The shower also leaked and the water rather luke warm. On our final day the water was cold. The breakfast is rather minimal..we just had croissants and bread with ham and cheese, with an orange. The only hot option was a boiled egg, but that was nicely cooked.The coffee was very weak.
Beautiful location on the edge of the forest, a traditional hunters lodge. Close to pretty Boitsfort village with lots of nice shops, cafes and restaurants. And gorgeous farmers market on Sunday morning. Just 15 minutes walk to Hermann Debroux metro through the parks. Our attic room was spacious and light, with a seating area and good size desk, lighting and nice and warm (important as it was December!) The staff were very helpful and friendly and tried to sort out all the problems that arose. They let us leave our suitcases all day until our evening flight and gave us an access card to the hotel all day.

The hotel is located in a very quiet wooded area in the southern suburbs of brussels. Great for resting. The breakfast does not offer a lot of choice, on the other hand good quality products: very good pastries, croissants, fresh eggs prepared in front of you.

It was a pity we didn't get chance to explore a bit more as we were only there for 1 night, and the purpose of our visit was to help my daughter move. I would love to go back again and spend more time there.

LatviaThe room and facilities may benefit from a little refreshing up, especially for the price. It was clean and comfortable but a bit dated in terms of the interior and just small details around the hotel (chipped paint here and there). Nothing overly major, however.
The location is wonderful, very comfortable to also have the nice restaurant downstairs. The area is very quiet (which is what we were looking for). Breakfast was as expected, standard continental breakfast with pastries, some cold cuts, eggs, cereal.
