The family in the room above us had 2 children who ran about a lot and banged things which was a bit annoying at night, although they did quite n down at about 10pm.

The location was perfect, it was only a short walk to the centre of Bruge and our room was spacious and well equipped, Hans was a friendly and helpful host. We only had breakfast on the last day but wish we'd had it more often as it was delicious and good value. We had a front door key and were able to come and go when we liked.

I really loved the guest house in general and the room paricularly. Such a beautiful design where the antique objects are well-combined with the modern ones. The location is in the heart of the old city, only some minutes walk from the main square. The host was friendly and very informative. The bathroom was very good. You live in one house with the hosts, but on the different floors, so you don't even see them (you see the host only while checking in and out).

We were happy with everything!

We rented the loft and it was very spacious, nicely decorated and fully equipped. The location was perfect, walking distance from the train or a short cab ride and very short walk into the heart of town. Bruges is our favorite spot in Belgium a must visit for everyone!

Hans was fantastic. He organized to meet us early for the room because of when our train got in, he had a map and tour guide book ready as well as suggestions for restaurants and the best chocolatiers. The room was far bigger than we expected with a deep bathtub and amazingly comfy bed. We were less than 5 minutes walk to the central square but far enough away that the room was quiet at night for an easy sleep! All the major tourist sites were a maximum of 15 minutes away so we could walk everywhere which is great because we could find all sorts of places to explore. We loved our time here and truly cannot recommend it enough!

It is not a negative comment, but there is no lift, and being an old building, the stairs are a little steep.

The location, the room, the spacious bathroom, and the superb breakfast. Hans, the host, was really welcoming and communicated well and promptly whenever I asked a question. Maison de la Rose is literally 5 minutes to Grot Markt and all other main attractions in Brugge. The 24-hour parking is also only 5 minutes away. All in all, everything was really great and would happily return. 😊

It’s a house, so some noise when people moving about - not a complaint but if you are super sensitive, keep in mind, it is a house, not a hotel - expect normal house noises when there is extra people living there.

Such a warm welcome. Room was 10/10, everything we needed (fridge and microwave was an extra treat - we were in room 2). Location phenomenal.
