Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

RomaniaThere was no real problem, just that the room had quite a low ceiling and the shower was inside the room. I didn't notice this from the pictures. Anyway, there was a noisy fan that remove the moist from the room fast.
Breakfast was extraordinary. Great wifi, excellent check-in process and the host was very kind to show me the facilities. Great private parking.

United KingdomThe fact that restaurant is not open on Mondays and Tuesdays and it was only messaged after the booking. Yves was great and suggested the only two restaurants opened in the area but I think the property should try and provide a light meal on these days.
The property is amazing, there's a rooftop that should be great in summer. The rooms spacious and clean. Staff were really kind and polite. The breakfast was amazing.

GermanyDuring the online booking process, It was never mentioned that you can not use the spa area as a hotel guest and you must additionally book, reserve and pay for the little swimming pool and the sauna. I booked this place for the Sauna and the pool to relax 1_2 hrs after a long business trip. But I was not able to even use it, because I had to book it in advance! I have never experienced such a thing anywhere else!

BelgiumAlthough we had a secure and private bathroom, I didn’t like that we had to exit our room and cross a public hallway to access our bathroom. Had I known this in advance I would have paid more to have my bathroom in my room!
The spa facilities were lovely, paid for 2hrs there was a good selection of steam, sauna, jacuzzi and sizeable swimming pool to enjoy.
