We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomHow can I fill 2 or 3 sentences when I have no complaints whatsover? How about saying that the reason that I lost the ring was that the bed was so comfortable that I overslept and had to rush to get showered before checkout?
Hotel Beila was an extremely well-appointed hotel, any easy stroll from the train station and located right in the middel of town. Family-owned, the staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. I lost a ring of great sentimental value and they managed to find it and return it to me by post - wonderful service!

Room and bathroom.were lovely, staff and breakfast also, great. The toiletries smelled wonderful!

BelgiumI missed a toilet brush - a simple, but unmissable object :( There was a lot of dust in between the "railings" of the bed - if you choose for such a designer option you need to be cleaning there too :(
The location of the hotel was great and we were particularly happy with the controller pad of the shower, that was situated OUTSIDE of the shower area - it was so well-thought, I wish every hotel had that! I also really appreciated the free parking in the town of Bilzen :)
