The entrance seemed slightly dodgy, although was safe. Had to pay a deposit before which was an annoyance, but refund of deposit was given swiftly and without complain.

Clean apartment, stocked with extras such as tea/coffee, chocolates and shower gel. Location was a highlight only being a few minutes walk from the centre.

Last minute reservation, Needed to send picture of money transfer. Was not easy (no bank app on my phone) at last managed to send it, got the keys code quickly after. Appartment had very steep stairs, not easy to acces for me because of a recent knee operation (no stair railing) Lot of noise in the streets but that’s logical with a location so close to the city centre.

Very clean appartment, good beds, easy communication with owner (whatsapp) Hot shower.

The bunk beds were very uncomfortable. The matrass was very thin so you lay on the frame beneath.

The location was perfect, very close to the centre of Antwerp.

The building stairs are narrow and steep, but that didn't bother me much. The flat is situated on a noisy corner. I didn't like much the deposit system they had, but had no issue with getting the money back. There were a few things broken/not working (such as the oven, clogged sink, shower-head handle), which surprised me given that they request a money deposit.

The flat is nice, comfortable and very spacious. It had pretty much all the necessary things for a comfortable stay.

The deposit request of 100€ which was not mentioned whilist making the booking. I have lost around 15£ due to conversion charges and some fees for the host. The stairs to the flat were absolutely horrible - very steep and no handrails on either side . This apartment should be advertised as not suitable for elderly, disabled and families with small children. The oven was not working( not like we need it to use it). The host was aware and still advertised the flat as a fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen sink was blocked and the water was not draining. The shower holder was broken and having a shower was a challenge. The host was informed about it but she choose not to respond. She only texted twice - once to demand deposit money and second to inform us that there is a extra fee for late check out. The hot water in she shower was restricted by the shower mixer - the water was warm-ish. The bedding and the towels as well as the whole apartment smelled of damp. Noise from traffic was horrible. The currains barely covered the windows and the light was coming through. The communication with the owner was challenging- we were expected to reply to all of her messages but whenever we raised a concern during our stay, she didn't even bother to acknolidge. The carbon alarm was missing, despite being advertised that there is one.

The location was perfect- 5 min walk from the city centre and 10 min away from the train station. The Wi-Fi was good.

Outside noise being next to the tram line and quite busy area of the city. Very narrow wooden stairs with a hole in it. Light at entrance was out of order.

The deposit was a bit of a pain and Booking.com took forever to send messages to and from the owner. Wound up costing us almost $20 USD extra by the time we paid all the fees since wiring from my US bank proved impossible.

Loved that the apartment had a washing machine. It was also conveniently located—a short walk from most major attractions in the old city.

It was the first time I had to pay a deposit for accomodation via Booking. I got it back quickly but the payment was charded by my bank (because of changing rate from EUR to CZK). There are very narrow and steep stairs, so it is not convenient for families with small children or elderly people.

Cosy, light and clean apartment in the city centre. There was all that we needed, also a coffee machine with capsules. All works fine. All sights were nearby.

The front door could use a better lock, and the distance between the door and ram is quiet big. But thats just a small nit pick, in general it seemed safe.

Simple, clean and warm apartment. Has everything you need, including washmachine. Only the oven did not work otherwise there are pans and cutlery for cooking available. Good price for the value. Communication via email was quick and smooth.

Nice cozy appartment in the middle of Antwerp. it has everything that you need to visit Antwerp for a few days. Also close to the Meir (shopping street) and the local bars

If wasn't that clean to be honest. But more importantly, if you're not an easy sleeper, you will not like this. The tram is in front of the appartment. It's noisy and it runs till midnight or 1 am. Secondly, the curtains are not blocking the streets lights so it doesn't get really dark in the appartment.

If you're not too worried about sleeping and you like being in a central spot, this is a good place to stay.

The kitchen facilities were sparse. The cooker did not work. There was only one toilet roll in the apartment - we ran out! The system for paying the deposit and city tax (bank transfer or PayPal) is cumbersome and costly - would be far better via credit card.

The location was excellent - close to the historic centre and museums. The apartment was very nice, light and airy with lots of windows. It was comfortable, just as portrayed in the photos. The shower was good.

We were given the top floor apartment. The stairs to the apartment are narrow and winding, only suitable to able bodied travellers. The door handle into the apartment has come off, see photo.The oven did not work and the owners stuck a label on the front to stop people from using it. This was not mentioned when we booked the accommodation. The toilet door would not shut, it is bigger than the frame. At the bottom of the top stair before you step into the apartment, a cable hangs loose on the tread which could cause a serious trip hazard! In the living room, the window on the left next to the TV is not fixed into the wall! There is a definite slope from the kitchen into the living room area, not sure how long this has been there but should definitely be inspected and put right. There is lots of mould visible in the shower roof window, this should be treated immediately.

The central location was very good, but as others have commented, the apartment is on a corner between 2 roads and the tram runs day and night. It is very noisy, if you are a light sleeper, you will struggle. We had the top floor apartment and the size was fine for us.
