Canal Suites is AMAZING! The rooms are stunning and the views and location are even better! It's location is perfect and the views of the canal is so picturesque. Can not recommend this property enough. Truly the best place to stay in Brugge!

Difficult to say anything bad

I stay here whenever I go to bruges (if its available) it's classic Flemish style and the rooms look out onto the canal. It's a 2 minute walk if that to the main square so very central.

The fridge was not on and we had to pull it out to plug it in. There was no stopper in the bath, but this dd get sorted. The TV was small and basic. We were not confident in using the safe. An option to take breakfast at the sister hotel would be good. The chair in the room was not vey comfy (see picture!).

Very central location, easy to walk into the main squares and all the main attractions. The canal tours go past the room on the canal. The staff at the sister hotel were excellent and very helpful.

The sinks and shower faucets should be fixed. When we turned any of them on brown water came out and we had to let it run for a while to clear out. This happened the night we got there and we finally got clean water but then it the morning the water was brown again

Location is amazing. It's a suite, not a hotel with reception. (but you can use the reception at the partner hotel over the road). The rooms are well decorated.

Walking in the rain with luggage to stay over the canal in a different building, instructions for how lights worked would have helped, there was a fireplace that we could not figure out how to work, main door with lock pad repeatedly left open, pillows were odd like “my pillow” chunky

Room 71. The bed was on the hard side but still fairly comfortable. The air conditioning when on made a intermittent grinding pump noise which was very annoying, so we couldn’t use it. The noise did stop an hour after the unit was turned off. I must note the awful toilet roll holder in the bathroom! Get rid of it, it does not suit the beautiful bathroom and is more suitable for a public convenience! But these small annoyances did not spoil a fantastic stay at Canal suites.

This property was in the most fantastic location on a beautiful canal right in the centre of Bruges. It was easy to find in the car using sat nav. Check in was in the hotel opposite, a very friendly lady welcomed us. Parking is right next to the rooms (extra charge). Doors are coded which worked fine. The room was beautiful, spacious and clean with a window looking over the canal. Bathroom was huge and everything you could want. Good shower over large bath. The room was cleaned daily with fresh towels supplied every day. The area was very quiet and peaceful.

AC made random noises at times but it was a minor inconvenience. The pillows seem a bit old - bunch of balls formed up.

It wasn't clear that check in is at a different location on the opposite side of the canal (the hotel is called Die Swami I think). After wandering around a bit because there was clearly no way to access my destination that the GPS was indicating was the location, I stopped in a nearby hotel by the address listed on Booking.com and their front desk person helped me. She said it happens all the time and was very nice too.

The room was beautiful. The location could not have been better. The ladies at the front desk were excellent.

Everything is great. Wifi is pretty weak, but I enjoyed the view from the windows, so no problem at all. I haven’t thought they clean the room everyday, but they do. Super great experience!!
