We still had the last persons rubbish in the fridge for our entire stay, and had someone elses rubbish in the bathroom when we arrived. Bed and Pillows were really uncomfortable.

Honestly has to be in one of the best and most convenient spots in Bruges, with an excellent view directly over the river and 200 meters from basically everything. Room decoration was excellent. The receptionist at the sister hotel was beyond helpful when we arrived with information about Bruges.

The hotel was very central but same time quiet. We had an amazing view as it was right on one of the canals. I loved the old style furniture. We had a beautiful gas fireplace and a huge bed and bathroom with 2 sinks! Our hostess was very kind and gave us good tips.

Beautiful small hotel in the heart of the city. Felt more like a bed and breakfast than sterile hotel experience. Drinking coffee at the window overlooking the canal in the morning was amazing. Short walk to historical sites and restaurants. Staff was very friendly and helpful with recommendations and calling for a taxi upon departure. Would definitely stay here again.

there was nothing we did not like

It was peaceful, but very close to the centre. The room was warm and cosy, and the view by the canal was beautiful. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, they went through a map of the city with us which was helpful walking around we knew what we were looking at! On our last day they pre-booked our taxi and let us use the sister hotel luggage room/ lounge. We couldn’t not have asked for a better place to stay for our visit. We will 100% be coming back in the future.

The hotel is in the best point of Brugge. We had breakfast at the sister hotel directly opposite and was very good. Joris,the man who welcomed us at the front desk, was very helpful person!!! He helped us with which sightseeing we have to visit and where to eat well. Thank you Joris!!!

We would have preferred to have the "do not disturb" option so that the room wasn't cleaned when we weren't there. Although this is completely understandable given the age of the building, there's not much noise insulation between rooms and we happened to have a rowdy crowd above us one night so I would suggest booking a top floor room if you're a light sleeper. The tub in our room was also quite tall so if you're short or have mobility issues you will probably have trouble getting out from the shower (I'm 5'2" and able bodied and had a little bit of trouble getting out for reference). The bed wasn't super comfortable but it's not the worst. All of the drains seemed clogged to some degree as well and the light switches were kind of confusing - don't turn off the master light switch, just turn off each lamp individually. I feel like this might seem like a lot of negatives but the positives definitely won out for us (just beware if you have mobility issues)!

The room was absolutely beautiful - when we walked in the fire was going and you could see the beautiful canal from the ground floor windows. There were so many nice touches that made the room feel homey and comfortable. The bathroom was pretty big with a large tub and full sized soaps. The location also couldn't be better, we could easily walk to everything we needed, including a 20 minute walk to the bus/train station. We didn't feel pressed to bring our rain gear with us everywhere because it was so easy to pop back into the hotel between activities. The staff was very friendly and helpful when planning our return trip on the buses/trains.

The lady at reception checking us in was exceptional from the moment we got there. So helpful and informative. The room itself was amazing and the view was stunning. We stayed in room 74 and I would highly recommend it. I’d definitely stay here again if I was coming back.

The location of the apartments is great for exploring Bruges! The apartment is tucked down a quiet side street and so peaceful but a 5 minute walk and you are in the central square. The room had a very decadent feel to it, was spotless, comfy beds, great bathroom and lovely view of the canal. Staff were exceptional and popped in to clean daily and replenish water and coffee! The bed was a lovely large comfy bed

checkin is across the canal even though it’s all door code access and they could just give the code like Airbnb hosts do. my code stopped working one night and I had to wait in rain for someone to come from across the canal to let me in, again using a code
