Unfortunately the "suite with separate bedroom and living room" advertised on Booking.com which I booked and paid for, does not exist. Upon arrival I was informed by Reception that the property offers studio rooms only. I have registered a complaint about false advertising with Booking.com and I suggest that both the hotel and Booking.com coordinate to ensure the apartment/room descriptions are corrected, to avoid disappointing future clients.

The hotel itself is very clean and comfortable, and the staff were helpful and professional. I had booked a suite with 3 beds, which turned out not to exist. I was given one room with one double bed, so the helpful gentleman on duty moved a folding bed into the room for the first night. Staff were able to replace the double bed with twin beds for the rest of our stay. The bathroom was spacious and shower very good. Garden-side room on 6th floor was quiet.

The pillows were very high and uncomfortable. They did not change the tea/coffee cups the next day. They didnt bring water or coffee/tea again except the day that we moved in.

I liked the design and it was very clean. The location is a bit far from touristic attractions, but the public transport connection was good.

There was, what looked to be, a small apartment kitchen but if was locked behind roll up shutter. We would appreciate it if we could heat up some instant food from the supermarket, especially when we stayed during holidays and there were no restaurants open.

Hotel Brussels provided a straightforward and comfortable stay. The rooms were clean, and the breakfast buffet offered a satisfying variety. My girldfriend especially loved the tiny nutella glasses. .) The view overlooking the street added to the urban vibe. The availability of a garage for parking was very convenient. Hotel is located walking distance from the centre and there's a subway station close by if you get tired on the way back. Overall, it was a good value for the price paid.

The bothroom mirror cabinet is quite old and its lights are not working.

The recepionist was very polite and spoke english as well as french. He gave clear instructions how use the different codes for parking and room door. The additional kitchen in the room is super to prepare your own meal and save some money.

We had only a couple of small niggles; firstly, there was a bit of a bad smell in the lift, but there had been flooding in the area, and the smell was intermittent, so it was probably beyond the staff's control. Secondly, the building interior is being renovated, and we arrived back one evening to find ourselves unable to get into our room due to furniture from other rooms blocking the door. However, the men working on the renovations were very apologetic and removed the blockage very quickly and in good humour, so again, it was only a very minor hiccup in an otherwise fantastic stay.

Although Diamant Suites is outside of the city centre, it is very easily reached via public transport. Several buses plus the number 7 premetro line stop within a short distance at the Diamant and George Henri stations, and these all interconnect with the rest of the system, making the Suites an ideal location for seeing what Brussels has to offer. The reception was manned when we arrived, and the staff were friendly and efficient. Rooms are secured by a number coded lock, as is the front door, adding to security. Access was easy, with both stairs and a lift. Noise was minimal, with no hint of traffic noise from the front (except when the protesting farmers drove past!). We had a studio with a garden view, which was a good size, containing a very comfortable king size bed, two armchairs, a couple of tables and a wardrobe, all we needed for our stay. The view was as you'd expect, taking in a large grassed garden area and the backs of the houses on the adjacent streets. There are plenty of shops nearby, including several Carrefour Expresses and an Aldi, plus takeaways. The kitchenette was adequate for our needs, with a microwave, two electric hotplates and a sink, with a good size fridge and a dishwasher. The room was very clean, including the shower and the toilet and the full size bath. All in all, it was warm, comfortable, and ideal for our purposes, and if we return to Brussels, the Diamant Suites will be first on our list for accommodation.

Reception only 9:00 till 21:00 Towels change only once every 3 days We asked for extra towels but we didn't get them, last day the told us that we should get them in the reception and no one will get into the room to replace them because this is an apartment hotel (fair explanation but we didn't know that we should get them, most days we were leaving before 9am and coming back after 9pm)

The corridor connecting the elevator to the parking smelled like the sewage system was leaking. There was a similar smell though milder also in the entrance corridor to the room. The facilities were old and problematic. In the first room that we got, the drainage of the bathroom was partially clogged and the lighting in the entrance was out of function. In the room that we got later, the toilet flashing was problematic, the fridge was out of use and the ligts above the mirror were not working. Generally, the rooms were not so clean.

There’s no daily housekeeping service. They closed the kitchen because we booked through booking.com even the hotel was almost empty so what would the kitchen give us more value or benefit in such a low season!! It was weird but we didn’t want it anyway. They have a small mattress above the big mattress and it kept moving so the sleep was not comfortable at all. The neighborhood is calm but it’s so empty specially in the evening and at night

Of course like any other hotels need some refurbishment here and there (like a new carpet).

I must say I was surprised for how nice and clean was everything (if we look at the poor score it has). The room is spacious, the bathroom clean with everything you need. The check in went nice and fast and the possibility to do it at 13.00 it's a big plus. Normal heating in the room and hot water at the shower.

There is big road near by so the one side of apartments is on the street side which is very loud and it starts around 6:00 AM in the morning. Dont expect to be able to sleep late.

It was close to the venue of the event I attended. Nice surprise that they called to check if everything is allright because I was not there after 7:00 PM.

The property is fine. The proximity to the public transport helps a lot. Staff is very helpful and there is very nice breakfast available.
