Both members of the party that booked into the accommodation left when lots of bite marks all over their body. The doctor said marks were from bedbugs.

There is a strange smell in the hallway, lack of ventilation and if the window is open, it's very noisy.

The bed was comfortable, the shower was clean, in reception you can find the teapot, tea and the dishes. And reception is working 24/7.

I have few suggestions for improving the hostel capacities. For example, although it has set up the dining place where one can serve himself and have a meal, there is no kitchen sink at this room. It would really be comfortable to have water (kitchen sink) there, simply for being able to wash your hands after the meal and wash the fruits for example. I understand that the policy of the hostel is not to have cooking (only microwaving of the food and water for coffee/tea), but still, water sink is needed. Also, if there is water sink, than they could put proper recycling bins there and guests could wash the plastic/metal/glass garbage and not just through it away mixed (as it is now). In the rooms, I would suggest investing in the small lamps for each bed and small shelves on the wall next to the pillow, this gives a lot of comfort to guests to keep their private things such as phone and water near and make less noise for other roommates. Also, in the bathroom, there is a high need for the place to put your clothes and hygiene products when taking a bath. Anything simple can change a lot. These are just small suggestions to make this already excellently organised hostel better and I wish the young staff and the owner the best.

Hostel location is great regarding the connections. Gare de Midi and Lemonier stations are withing 10 and 1 minutes respectively. The reception staff is perfectly kind, professional and gave me all the information I needed, plus they are there 24/7.

The area around the hostel was busy and loud, I felt a little unsafe as a solo woman walking from the midi train station and thus the next evening I made sure to be back before it started to get dark. There was a small issue in the bathroom that after a shower the floor of the bathroom would flood very easily but it was manageable by taking shorter showers.

The location was not far from where I needed to be, just a short walk to most things. I was grateful for the ability to pay for a towel and a lock for the lockers as these where things I hadn't brought. It was very clean and there were plugs next to each bed, even top bunks.

Not the safest area and they didn't recommend the area for solo female travelers but I didn't really feel unsafe. Would like to have bedside lamp etc because now it really woke me up when people arrived, put all the lights on and also the lockers were quite noisy.

Ok location (didn't need to use public transport, just walked everywhere) and good bed, very ok accommodation for this price. Ok clean. One shower/wc in 4 people room (quite ok if everyone not waking up same time, now I had to hurry just little when heading to airport).

The beds are too narrow. The mattress can be thicker so I don't need to have my leg pressing on the iron frame when I climb the bed which is uncomfortable.

There were some episodes of vandalism (broken windows) that occurred overnight. It’s not the hostel’s fault, of course, but it was unpleasant.

I am a mature woman and I needed a bed at the last minute on a bank holiday The manager was incredibly helpful and very sympathetic. His kindness was very welcoming.

The location. Besides being in the center its not the most pleasant place. To reach the hostel the closest tram station is lemonier not one of the safest ones. All seamed very sketchy.

The room was comfortable. Good bed and a big locker to secure bags. Staff is kind. And overall the hostel is clean.

the window was broken and water was leaking all over the windowsill. Check out time is from 10-10:30. But in 9:50 a woman burst into our room and started screaming “Check out!!”
