We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Very friendly staff, we received a discount for a great update last minute, there is a supermarket near the hotel, near Charleroi Airport, sufficient parking space, great noise isolation, it smelled great in the main area and in our room, easy to use technology, lovely soaps, relaxing jacuzzi, very comfortable bed and last but not least the room was decorated beautifully. Our stay in general was very relaxing and luxurious. Great quality.

United KingdomVery disappointed as went to reception at 22:50hrs for an iron and ironing board and was advised that it would be brought to my room. At 23:45 still not there so had to go back down. The male night receptionist was very good and whilst not sure did go exploring to find one whilst I waited. He was great but the original request should have been dealt with before the evening staff left for the evening.

JordanThe only bad thing but its something that really should be taken into consideration as it reflects the hotel image is the guy on the night shift who was very tough and rude with us, we were almost fighting with him for his attitude and rude tone of his voice, we paid cash then he said that he want to test the credit card we said its ok as he mentioned that this is the hotel policy, but he deducted the amount again and we received a massage from our bank that the amount was deducted, not only tested it, and he was insisting that he did nothing but testing and this issue always happens with their customers and they keep complaining about it but this is the hotel policy!! After arguing with him and being sooooo rude with us he did something finally and the amount was reversed back to our account Second issue when we were at the airport and called him asking for the shuttle bus or taxi, he said something that i didnt hear because of the wind and winter outside so i asked him to say again what he said so he told me in a rude way "dont u understand english!!!!" Is this a way to talk to your customers!! So when we reached the hotel i was not surprised with his rudeness again!! Another issue is that the check in process took so long time, not with us only but with customers who were checking in before us i dont know why!!! Last minor issue is that the pillows are very high, who sleeps on low pillows will not be comfortable at all
The hotel itself and room is great and very clean, room size is great too, clean bathroom, the hotel offers you magazines and flyers for what to do in belgium, breakfast was ok and breakfast area is nice, taxi service was a great option too specially that we reached the airport at night and no taxis were available

Belgiumsome staff members below all expectations. 'Cool' as in 'arrogant' and not customer-oriented. Pictures this while approaching the reception: 'Yes?' (guy keeps on looking at his screen). 'Yes?!' (now louder, still looking at his screen). Oh, you are actually talking to me, a client arriving.... I see.. Further down the conversation: 'there are lots of rooms available'. Later, when returning at the reception desk, unhappy with the room provided 'the hotel is full'. Two more points, marking lack of professionalism, but let's stop here. Staff member at breakfast was rather bothered by our presence, when asking for a standard service... Van der Valk: up your HR quality please!
