Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe breakfast could have had a bit more variety, or perhaps the option of something hot for the price of €20 but this is a very minor thing overall.
The staff went above and beyond to help us (allowing a late check-in and feeding us in the evening because of some extraordinary circumstances) and could not have been more kind and helpful. The room was beautiful and very clean.

We had an excellent stay here mid-April. The chateau has been updated and I adored the mix of old and new in the interior design. The bed was very comfortable and the room was overall cozy. Breakfast was so delicious - in my opinion, definitely worth it. There is a nearby restaurant (Les Plats Canailles de La Bleue Maison) that they were able to get a reservation for us for. One of the best meals of my life. There is also a pretty lake on the property that I would have loved to go on a run around if I had more time. There is also ample parking. Cannot recommend this place enough!

SwedenThey could upgrade the bathroom products for such an amazing place and the bathroom doir was a bit difficult. But these are minor things. We loved the ambiance, the vibes and the location. Very secluded! To our delight.
Property was calm and relaxed, staff was super nice, great customer service. Rooms was to die for, clean, white, everything new, super high ceiling, royal, windows with light electrical covers for the morning… all in all amazing! We loved it.

Beautifully rennovated manor house and stables. The room I had was in the white stable building and immaculately rennovated, one of the very best rooms I have ever stayed in. The manager was very attentive and helpful, breakfast was wonderful, they even have welcome free drinks (I had an exellent local beer) a very enjoyable stay. I will come back again for sure.

The size and space of the rooms are cavernous. The welcoming and attention to detail for our stay was exceptional. The beautiful walks around the lakes - great white egrets among other bird life seen. The breakfast was superb. The Bleue Maison is across the road. Perfect.

SwitzerlandThe rooms have been very nicely renovated and we loved the decoration but toilet was open in the room not framed to get privacy from sound and smell. This was so unpleasant that even if the rest was very nice we would not return. The bath area could easily be separated with a glas solution… sad it is not being done!
