A place to stay for the night, nothing more, nothing less. Having to make up your own bed is a little too much, even for this price.

Keep in mind (not a complaint, but good to know) You'll be making your bed yourself no breakfast options nearby (but... a great bakery 5 minutes away) also bring your own soap. (This is very clearly mentioned in all the communication as well)

Somone living downstairs smokes a lot. You will smell it during your stay. If the window faces the street, it is a bit noisy. Don't forget to take your own shampoo, soap.

A few basics would have made the unit more comfortable, like handsoap and an extra toilet roll. Some basic tourism info would be nice too, but there is a very friendly tourism office close by.

Close to a very pretty town and the unit was easy to get into which WhatsApp instructions sent in advance.

Very cheaply furnished, door handles came off, flimsy pillows and thin blanket, no sound-proofing. Cheap youth hostel style. Paper cups, no hand soap, shower gel or tea bags

There were 2 adults and 2 children in the room above the mauve bedroom and the noise was exceptionally loud. It sounded as if all the furniture was being constantly rearranged. The 2 children seemed to be playing at running and jumping all over the room. Thankfully the children must have gone to bed by the time I retired. I accept that soap is not provided, but a soap dish or somewhere to put wet soap would have been useful.

Most comfortable bed I slept in during a 3 week tour of europe.

They forgot to send the entrance code - but calling the hotel solved the problem within a minute. There’s a lot of light that comes in past the curtains at night.

There happened to be Halloween at the castle and it was fantastic. The hotel is very solid and comfy, you even get a surprisingly large outside area out back. The owner was very helpful when I called them to let me in. La Roche is gorgeous and so is its surrounding area.

I think complete block our curtains would be better than partial block out. Also wear your holiday ear plugs if you like to sleep with the window open. If sleeping with the window closed then any street noise is blocked out. But non of the above stopped us from having an excellent and comfortable sleep. The owner does need to make the sign on the window more noticeable to us silly tourists.

Excellent free wifi connection and lots of power points. Good fridge with freezer. Kettle provided. Clean, modern, great location with free parking just outside in street and close to town center. Comfy beds and the best shower. Excellent value for money if you are fine to provide own toiletries/tea/coffee/etc.

The room had a stale cigarette smell, so if this bothers you (like it does me), then this is not a place for you. Even though the place was very clean, the smell made it off-putting. Could have at least had a hand-soap.

We would like to have had a couple of mugs and maybe some coffee available (there was a kettle). Also some shower gel or soap. I’m not used to packing these as they are usually available. We were only there for one night so it wasn’t a big deal.

It was bright and modern. The room was clean and the essentials were in place. There is plenty of space. The rain shower was excellent. Excellent communication.

You can hear other people walking up stairs or in the room, very noisy especially when other people party in the night since it's wooden floor.

Location was perfect! Literal at the other side of the cable car to go on top of beautiful mountain view, and in the city centre. Rooms are nice, we had the two rooms at the first floor. One with terrace.
