Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe Wi-fi signal was really bad. I couldn't work from the place simply because it kept disconnecting. On top of that, sometimes it would go off for hours on end.
The kitchen was nice, it was clean and it provided most of what I needed to cook a proper meal. The cleaner also visited every day to tidy up if needed.

BelgiumParking was behind the property but because there was some kind of street fest, parking your car in a legal way was a problem... The shower only had only one door (instead of 2) which meant that a lot of water sprinkled on the floor.
Easy check-in. Clean room. Wifi worked well. All items in the kitchen were there. The noise isolation was perfect. No noise from neighbors nor neighborhood could be heard.

GermanyI think that it is a small or family run business and so the reception isn't open all the time. That being said, the staff were friendly and helpful.
This place was very clean and comfortable! I was positively surprised after having read some of the average reviews. It was a good balance of privacy and access to what we needed. We traveled by bicycle and found it convenient. The breakfast was also very generous.

BelgiumI think, there is only one thing that I can suggest. It could be very useful if there is a sign for the case of that we don't want room cleaning.
We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The location of the hotel is very close to the restaurants, cafes and some of the museums. You have everything in the room to do everything you want (cooking, preparing coffee, cable TV...)

Poland- the floors in the apartment are so cold it feels like standing on concrete outside. We had to wear flipflops at all times as it was impossible to stand on the floor for more than a couple of seconds. - the water in the toilet was really dirty - the water in the shower was barely lukewarm

City House Genk is perfectly situated and has a nice room and ideal if you want to cook yourself. Also around the corner lost of options for restaurants.

Very friendly concierge. Easy check-out. Free-of-charge parking behind the building. Close to a cozy street with restaurants, bars, cafés and bakery.
