How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The only important point to notice is that the building has no elevator, although the building looked new. No problem for families with light suitcases. I noticed there is one room on ground level.
Excellent location, quiet area but walking distance to centre. Comfortable room and bathroom. Tobias was always helpful and respond quickly.

No lift. The parking was near, around 3 minutes walk.
Excellent location. We walked around the city. The rooms were large and clean. It was very convenient using the pass code to access the building and rooms.

All good.
Great location. Easy access and very secure. Clean, modern, stylish, light, spacious room. Very comfortable, big bed and good shower. Coffee and water provided.

A slight problem checking in via code, but sorted very quickly by Tobias.
Great location, a couple minutes from Grote Markt. Very clean and comfortable room and really easy to find, driving into Antwerp.

As many other said, it is a pity that the room does not have a small fridge. For the rest all great!

A mini fridge would be a good addition so we could put our water and sodas cold but besides that there wasn’t anything we didn’t like.
The property was on a great, quiet location, only a few minutes walk to the Grote Markt. The appartement was really clean and modern, the shower was great and the bed was comfortable. Highly recommend this stay.

The hotel was extremely beautiful. It was quite clean and had a nice location. The host was very hospitable and he let us leave our luggage for a couple of hours for free in his downstairs office. However, the room was a little bit cold at night.

There's no TV in the room but who watches one in this day and age?! A bottle of still water would've been nice and maybe a couple more coffee pods but just minor things and not expected.
Excellent location a few minutes walk from Antwerp's stunning square, this lo-fi hotel was perfect for us. Nice, large room, coffee machine, cool shower. Worth noting there's no reception or facilities like a bar/restaurant, you simply receive a door code via text/email.

There were no bath accessories like shower gel / shampoo, and overall I think it's high time to replace the towels, they looks a little too used. The rest was great, thank you!

No elevator, so luggage needs to be accried on small stairs.
Great location in very close proximity to city center, however very quietly situated in a side street. Modern interior, good beds, all electronic appliances functioining well. Very easy handling of access via a door code. Public parking 150 mtrs. away, very convenient!

There is nothing as such . But It would be great if breakfast can be arranged . However, the property is close enough from many restaurants. So not too difficult .
The property is located very close to the city attraction . The rooms are big enough and clean . Nice place for family with children . We visited during the Christmas and the location is just 2 mins from the awesome Christmas Market .

Nice location, everything in walking distance. The room was cleaned, convenient and good equipped. Moreover the owner is very friendly and helpful! He gave us all the information we needed and he provided us a storage room for our luggages till we leave the city. We highly recommend this accommodation and we hope to come back!
