The toilet was located in a different part of the room than the sink/shower (probably due to nature of the building, only a minor inconvenience), and the shower was very dark, more lighting in the shower area would have been good

Nice boutique hotel nestled in the back streets of Brussels, location was great very close to the metro station, plenty of shops, cafes, and restaurants around, room was clean and nicely decorated, bathroom had a lot of character, hotel was very quiet

TV is not working.

I like the location. It is very close to the metro station and train station Brussels North. It is also very close to the mall City2. Walking distance to Brussels city center. Very convenient.

noisy hotel, you hear the neighbors and sounds from heaters, walls, tubes. didn’t sleep well. no phone in the room, no hairdryer.

one staff told me i was wasting a lot of her time yet she had a lot of work, i had asked her for 5 mins to re arrange my bags in the baggage room . i found that very rude, considering i had stayed with hotel for 7 nights

-A/c-heating system the first night was so noisy I asked reception to switch it off for the subsequent nights. -Room 301 has no light as it faces the inner court yard of the building. -No free water in the room. -Not enough hangers in the cupboards. -Not enough lights in the room, the main room light is too dim. -The rods in the bathroom to hang the hand towels keeps falling down so I could not use it.

There was a smell as soon as you enter the hotel. You couldn't easily find a table for breakfast, as tables weren't regularly cleaned.

The electronic lock that opens the entrance door to the hotel sometimes malfunctions.

This is a cool, reasonably priced hotel, five minutes walk from the train station Brussels North and right next to the metro station Rogier. It is perfectly located both for business travellers and tourists. I have already stayed here previously and I was familiar with the location and the facilities, so I knew what to expect. The hotel is nicely decorated in the 'colonial' style, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. There was a strike at Brussels airport and my baggage was delayed for several days, but the hotel staff did everything they could to assist me. Much appreciated!

Common areas quite outdates, especially the elevator. Breakfast quite basic.

There was construction noise starting quite early in the morning due to a massive construction project next door. The breakfast was fine but nothing special. The lift didn't work and I was told by repeat guests that it hasn't been working for months. It was not a problem for me and my small suitcase, but it would be a problem for older people or those with a lot of luggage.

Room was nice and comfortable. Staff nice. Excellent location, just 3 min walk from Place Rogier and plenty of bus lines and a major subway station. Lots of restaurants within 10 min walking.
