Way too expensive for 1 night stay

Having a proper receptionist would help a lot your guests.

The hotel is simple but rooms are really nice and comfortable. Staff is though pretty much invisible and you have to do very long wait to see anyone.

Interior of the hotel looks like it could use some renovation. The handle of the door room was broken, you needed to push well the doors to open/close. Room was humid enough. Breakfast was fine but you had to walk and go to another hotel to eat. Reception was not there or easy to find, no English were spoken but staff seem friendly :)

I missed eggs in the breakfast, or some warm bacon. Don't count on the hairdryer, it's quicker to blow it yourself. ;) The building in general is a bit worn down.

The location was great, right in the city center. We were able to store our luggage in the hotel, even after we had to check out. And very friendly staff!

The hotel felt like a bedsit. No lock at all to get in. Anyone can go in any time, day or night. The photos are not what it or the rooms looked like. No staff around. We paid £1200 for 2 rooms for 3 nights and it wasnt worth the money.

Our acommodation through booking.com in Liege was cancelled at the last minute so we booked this in durbuy as everything in liege full. The situation was great, Durbuy is so pretty.

The hotel appeared to be under renovation. it was dirty, walls were damaged and the carpets in reception were filthy. The room had been renovated but not to the standard of any of the pictures on your webpage. The smoke alarm was disconnected. The bathroom had not been updated and it had a hand held shower in the bath. There was no safe for valuables and the security at the hotel was non existent. Anybody could walk into the hotel because there was no door and rarely anyone on reception. Keys were left in a tray on the reception desk which anyone could take. The hotel was listed as 3 stars - never in a million years. There are plenty of other hotels in Durbuy that would be far better than this hotel. I have photos if you are interested.

On the first night, we stayed in a room with a door that couldn't be locked. Anyone could push the door and enter our room. We let the hotel know, and they could not do anything on that night because they were fully booked. So, we had to stay inside as we could not leave our stuff unattended in the room that night. They changed our room the next night, but we had to take our suitcases and check in again after 15:00; even though we had paid for two full days, we couldn't use a room for two days. Finally, the pictures of the hotel on Booking.com are not up-to-date, which is very misleading. The hotel flooded several years ago, and it is still under construction.

I liked the willingness of the receptionist to help. That being said, there wasn't someone in the reception most of the time. Finally, the breakfast was okay, but it was served in a different hotel.

didn’t see one member of staff the whole stay, entrance didn’t work had to use the restaurant next door but no sign advising this. lights in the hall way didn’t work had to use torch on phone in the dark to see. room smelt of damp and mould had to go to different hotel for breakfast

I am sure I will never come again. it was terrible because you gave the room to someone else at the same time the door of my room was opened by someone else with a key and they entered my room where I was sleeping it was a disgrace and there was no one to talk to at the hotel

We didn't see much of the staff, it's a shame there was a pretty blonde who greeted us.

The village is very pretty, great restaurants, bars are nearby and the people are very welcoming.

I was highly disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The lack of a reception area set the tone for a disorganized experience. Navigating through construction on the way to the room was inconvenient, and the plain brick hallway with no lights created an unwelcoming atmosphere. Upon entering the room, I was greeted by a worn-out, broken couch. Attempts to illuminate the room failed due to faulty lights. The bathroom further added to my dissatisfaction, with old and bleached towels that left much to be desired. Despite the promising pictures on the hotel's website, there was no coffee or tea station, not even a basic bottle of water in the room. To top it off, the advertised "pool" turned out to be an additional cost, conveniently hidden in the fine print. This lack of transparency regarding amenities and the overall condition of the hotel left me thoroughly dissatisfied with my experience.
