Beautiful hotel central to everything. Staff were extremely helpful. So pleased with our stay here. Cannot fault. A lot of choice for breakfast very good.

My room was clean and beautiful. As I arrived way early than checking in time, I wanted to leave my suitcase at reception, but instead the reception let me check in and have the beautiful room from early morning. Really appreciated the hotel’s flexibility.

Small amount of sockets near the bed. Only this can be inconvenient. Or it’s possible that I just didn’t find them:) cause it wasn’t important for me. But of course it’s possible to charge all you have. Around the room there were a lot of sockets.

I adore this place in total. All was on the highest level. Totally satisfied with all facilities, breakfast, location. A bit more: breakfast includes a big variety of all you need in the morning; location is in the heart of old city; room-ohh, it was superb. Soft bed, big bathroom, hot floor, beautiful interior

It’s a maze of mashed together properties, a lot of trekking up and down stairs / elevators, (wouldn’t want to be there in an emergency to exit. Rooms are just OK but dated. The bathroom was very average - NO SHOWER…!!! and cold. The Drilling / Jack Hammering on the morning of the second night, was still ringing in my ears two hours after check-out.

Breakfast is good. The location is Great. The car parking is good if not full. A very nice reception and the front bar is good - Unfortunately, the cocktail bar was closed as a nice sit-up to bar would be great.

Perfect! Beautiful building with fantastic rooms. Staff are absolutely great, friendly and helpful. Breakfast choices excellent, location very central. Would definitely recommend and stay here again, we had a superb stay before and after Alcatraz Festival

Lovely breakfast with lots of choices in a beautiful breakfast room The historic hotel is the oldest in Belgium. Right on the market square and walking distance to all sites Very friendly staff Would definitely stay there again !

I reserved a parking but actually it is not accessible due to local celebration and I was not informed. I asked for a quiet room, but I was given a room just towards to the celebration. The celebration stopped around 2, 3AM. The suite is quite small, for sure it is smaller than they claimed in the website. Since the room is small, the babycot ( we paid for 30 euro) cannot be put next to our bed, we have to put it in the aisle between the bed room and living room. You cannot enter the hotel in the evening or holiday from front gate of the hotel, you have to walk to another street and walk through a noisy bar and then find a elevator without significant sign.

The furniture is not bad, breakfast is ok.

Room didn’t have much in mini bar ie: soft drinks, juices. Very thirsty in night, only had a small bottle of water which could of been bigger. No tea-coffee in room.

Rooms were clean and comfy. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Location excellent I didn’t have breakfast but my father said great choices and lots on offer. Car park was fantastic

Awful restaurant staff who proposed and served eggs to all the other guests apart from me. I was the only black guest and felt discriminated against. Perhaps I was invisible. There was an older lady on my first day and she was kind and served me too. The second day was awful. Discrimination has no place in this world.

Room was single bed while double bed was announced for the price. Bed was not confortable, I did not sleep well Room was too warm did not find any control system to configure temperature Breakfast buffet was limited for a 4 stars hotel

Room, sorry, outdated, The bed was not comfortable, we did not sleep for 2 nights, due to lots of noise comming from the kitchen at night. 3 am is not a time to start using your large garbage bins. The TV was not working properly, we had to take out the socket in order to make the remote work.

breakfast was ok, could be better. I liked the fact that authors from the past were visiting and staying in the Hotel. Area is good. Close to shopping streets.
