How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

No kettle which was a bit inconvenient. Noisy road which didnt bother me but something to keep in mind if you are looking for a quiet place - this is a busy, busy road!
The bed was comfy, bathroom well equipped with hairdryer (shower was slightly odd as you couldn’t stand underneath, you had to hold it the whole time). View was nice, of Avenue Tervueren. Great location, friendly staff. Have to leave your hotel keys with reception when you go out which is a bit odd for me but it worked well as I suppose you don’t have to worry about losing the key. We also had a balcony which was a nice touch.

we didn't get lucky as our room was directly in front of the hall for breakfast, so heard some noises also even there is a balcony it is facing a very traffic road found it expensive for the standard
it is a very location, by foot 5-10 to parc cinquetenaire! 2 min from a subway station room has a balcony! bathroom is big there is a hanger & desk

Location is on one side perfect - few metres from a subway station, one station to Quartier Européen, few stations to the city centre. On the other hand, it is next to the busy main street with tramways on the ground and metro underground, which may be a little bit disturbing element. At least in the first floor with a window to the street, you hear every tram coming, and, surprisingly, you also feel vibrations from the metro.
Room was relatively small, but with all the necessary equipment you may need for a business trip - bed, table and chair, lamp for reading, wardrobe with enough of hangers, soap and shampoo in the bathroom... Reception is open 24/7, staff is friendly and helpful, room was clean.

Location is great and easy to reach with public transport. It just needs to imrpove cleanness, mainly of the bathroom. Staff is really nice.

Breakfast could have been a little better
Room was quite okaish given the fact that we made the last minute booking and the size of room is small but it worked well for my family together with my spouse and son as its a good option for a night stay.Beeakfast wasnt very great for us as we are vegeterians so just some kinda bread, egg, fruits, juices , yoghurt and cheese.

Well, since it is not an expensive hotel, do not expect high standards.
Very good location and defininitely a good bue for money. Also the breakfast was great. If you are looking for a 1-2 days stay, then it is very good economical choice.

very bare bones rooms in a very old building.
the location was lovely! public transportation right outside the door, several wonderful restaurants were walking distance.

The room was very quiet and clean, the bed comfy. Excellent location: close to a big park, many metro and bus lines and nice restaurants and bars. The owner is very friendly and nice. Perfect for sleeping and then moving around the whole city during the day.

Elevator was too small ,hardly two persons can stand at the same time. We were 5 ppl and even with kids pram folded state, lift's 3rd round only I could go up. We were in 2nd floor and walking/running sound from upper floor was little disturbing. But still was manageable for us.
Stayed only for 1 day. Location was good just next to the metro station entry And near by attraction and pizza restaurants
