The only downside was that the stay had to come to an end!

Great location, would need a car if wanted to go out but we did so was perfect for our stay. Ruth was very friendly and welcoming, spoke perfect English. The rooms had amazing decor and features, super cosy and comfortable. Sauna, pool and hot tub were great! Beautiful breakfast in the morning.

The place is next to a visible major highway. I was hoping to escape to the countryside and not hear or see any traffic, but highway noise is very apparent when outside. They do play soft outdoor music though that helps.

Breakfast is outstanding. The outdoor hot tub and sauna and surrounding greenery and attention to detail are fantastic. Seeing the horses from our bedroom was fascinating.

Ruth was a superb host, with the hot tub ready to use despite our late arrival. Lovely comfortable bed in a spacious room, followed by an excellent breakfast.

This is an amazing B & B just outside of Bruges. We used it as a stop between visiting Bruges and a return trip home on the Eurotunnel. Our room was lovely, beautifully decorated and very quiet. The bio pool and hot tub were a great bonus. Ruth is an amazing host and made us a wonderful early breakfast as we had an early shuttle. The property is just outside a small town with a good choice of restaurants. Great stay, thank you.

Ruth is one of the best hosts we ever experienced. She is lovely, kind and considerate. The love of detail she put in the accomodation is exceptional. We've never seen a place that felt like home so quickly. Everything, really every little thing has been chosen with care. Even sockets, switches, plates, doorknobs, ... Just amazing. And her homemade breakfast was amazing, too. Make sure you don't skip it!

The highway is a bit loud when enjoying the outdoor hot tub. But doesn't take away any credit of this amazing stay.

Incredible warm welcome by Ruth and her daughter, who took heaps of time to welcome us. Showing us around the breakfast area (with an 24/7 available honest-bar), the wellness facilities and room facilities. The wellness facilities were all prepared as per our request, with the hot tub and sauna all heated up and ready for use. The room itself was comfortable, equipped with a large (soft) bed and a huge rain shower. All facilities in the room were well thought out and modern. Come morning we were served an amazing fresh breakfast before heading out into Bruges.

The wellness facilities: traditional Swedish sauna and the hot tub are lovely. Situated under the stars, lovely and hot. The Room and breakfast room: luxurious, comfortable and spacious. Beautifully finished interiors with great bar and coffee facilities. Breakfast: absolutely delicious home made food.

It was perfect for our family with little children. They could run around, and we could use the kitchen to make an easy supper, relaxed and comfortable with the kids. The wood-fired sauna was a bit too warm - very small space for such a strong source of heat - and the wood-fired jacuzzi was not quite warm enough. Though I am sure if we had asked the hostess, she would have gladly provided a bit of explanation for how to manage the fire in each.

Beautiful, peaceful location with easy access to Bruges and the coast. Comfortable, cozy room. Very friendly hostess. Breakfast was really exceptional. Everything you could want in a very cozy setting.

Everything was fantastic! Lisa and her boyfriend were helpful in recommending restaurants, activities, and arranging for bike rental for our stay. Their hospitality made our trip so much more enjoyable and memorable. I highly recommend booking with them and can't wait to go back!
