Great location within walking distance to train station and tourist attractions. Helpful staff with suggestions for things to see and do. Nice restaurant and bar in hotel. Really quiet rooms with comfy bed and good shower. Prosecco at check in with biscuits and chocolates in room which was a really nice touch. Lovely building too. Plenty of great independent coffee bars close by for breakfast.

Room was in the eaves so it felt a bit oppressive. This effectively shrinks the space as part is not full head height. Made us feel we had drawn the short straw for a deluxe room. There was no wardrobe in the room (whoever heard of that in a five-star hotel?) and the only mirror was a small one in the bathroom. Poor lighting in bedroom. Underfloor heating in bathroom not working properly so v cold.

Excellent, quiet location just minutes from the historic centre. Lovely big bathroom with good lighting. Large comfortable bed with top quality linens.

Staff were not willing to speak French. Room was a bit on the small side.

Superb check-in experience and stately reception environment; really really friendly and forthcoming staff. They were expecting me despite very last-minute booking. Nice decoration and furnishings in the room. Large bathroom.

The taxi driver charged €40.00 for a ride from Antwerp Central Station to Hotel Franq. I know this has nothing to do with the hotel, but this one incident did change our outlook on Antwerp, but for only a few minutes. The driver said that the taxi meter in Antwerp starts at €35.00. We were tired and just wanted to get to Hotel Franq. This was the only bad incident during our 2 weeks in Belgium.

The staff were very helpful and kind. The biggest part was the hotel was centrally located, very close to the magnificent churches and the gorgeous museum.

Not knowing Antwerp very well I was delighted with the location in a quiet street near the old centre. Fashion district was within walking distance as were many museums. Cosy cafes and bars just around the corner. The atmosphere in the hotel was very warm and welcoming, we enjoyed a wonderful feast in the restaurant.

A hidden gem and upon entry was just stunned by the hotel. The decor and elegance and vibrancy. A perfect hotel for what we needed. The bar, restaurant and if had more time would have made use of the gym. Sustainable with toiletries in the room no need to bring body wash and shampoo. Amazing breakfast spread. The menu had a great selection of food, hearty and wholesome. Staff friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

I only have one remark: shampoos and soaps in the bathroom were already used by previous guests. Considering the hotel standards, this is a little bit disappointing.

The hotel was perfect, nice position to visit the town, well equipped and great breakfast. Very cozy and quite, the right place to have a good rest.

Room is a bit small but perfectly fine. Bottled water in room tastes a bit weird, but it seems to be better for the environment which we liked a lot.

Beautiful hotel. Room was simple and small, but cosy and neat and tasteful. Comfy beds! The staff was very helpful and polite. The breakfast had a continental spread that wasn't excessive but of very high quality, with eggs made to order. Offer of prosecco on arrival a nice touch. Liked the White Company toiletries.

Room was lovely but quite small for a 'Deluxe' room. The Breakfast options were very poor for 28 EUR- I do not recommend spending extra on Breakfast, you can get something just as good outside the hotel for much less. They also did not have a menu and the staff acted quite 'annoyed' when you ordered something other than the buffet. Eg Eggs.

Maybe a few little details in the room (like some loose curtain hooks, lights either too bright or too low, location of the full length mirror could have been better) but really all details and definitely don't let it get in your way. Book ahead!
