Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

NetherlandsThe internet didn't work, neither did Netflix. The restaurant is a little overpriced. The breakfast could have more options. We stayed for 4 nights, so it became very repetitive.
The location is excellent for nature lovers. Very silent and peaceful. From the hotel you can reach beautiful hiking and biking paths. At night, stars gazing is a good idea. The value for money is one of the best. The facilities are very simple but clean and the staff is friendly.

NetherlandsOnly real set-back is that sounds from other rooms were loudly hearable. That, together with some minor bathroom related aspects, still gives it a well-deserved 8 score.
What made this hotel worth an 8 was on the one hand the location (very quiet), the friendliness of the employee, the fruit at the breakfast.

BelgiumThe shower really needs a new shower head/nozzle and wifi didn't work at all in the room! Breakfast was unfortunately very simple and you can also hear noise from the aisle. So I can't really give any recommendations for this hotel but we were on a cycling tour and the hotel was in a good location for us.
Room is quite small but bed was ok and everything was clean.

United KingdomWhere to start, my kettle was filthy, our room had 1 window w no mosquito netting and no fan so all night we played the game of eaten alive by mosquitoes or sweat profusely. The evening staff watched me, 6mo pregnant w a toddler on my back and 4 bags get everything up the stairs without an offer to assist.
