Too many stairs, the toilet was too small, we couldn’t fit without leaving the door open.

The hotel is really pretty, close to the center and the staff was very friendly.

Only slight issue was the stairs up to our room were quite hard to get our large suitcases up and there was no lift. But wouldn’t stop us from staying again

The room is small, but ok if you are not spending much time there. The shower cubicle is in the room, the toilet is stuck away in a former closet.

Location is excellent, nearby underground car park, on the edge of the old center. Breakfast cafés closeby. Old building with character, easy entrance. No noise from the restaurant downstairs (2nd floor room).

The only downside was the AC, which did not work really well. The hotel has narrow steps and no elevator, so please think if this is a concern for you.

there was no “humans” at all at the hotel to seek help or ask for anything. It was all self-service with instructions sent over on messages on booking.com. When asked about not having a kettle for hot water, was provided with a rude response that reminded this is a 3-star hotel and it’s not provided and we can cancel the room and look for other high star-rating hotels nearby that provide hot water facilities - and of cos also being reminded that the fees paid of this hotel will only be refunded 50%!!!!

The location was superb - right in the center of the city and easy to find. Lots of shopping and food options. 10mins walk to the market square.

We couldn't understand how to enter the hotel because it was self checkin type. So, we ring the bell and staff answer, we told them we couldn't enter inside and tried to get help but they keep going to say "check your mail"! We came there from Paris and tired a lot but they did not help it all. It was really bad attitude. You rent the room but cannot get inside! What a mass!

It was clean enough, just a weird smell in the shower but when we leave the room with opened window that was okay. Location is good.

Uncomfortable stairs to go with big luggage and there were some noises in the early morning (thin walls).

We loved the area, in the citycenter but not noisy, you can sleep well. The restaurant is amazing, the rooms are above it! A typical belgian house! The rooms are small but enough for 1-2nights. The staff is helpfull.

Key-box was difficult to use on arrival. Wall heater wasn’t working well so room was chilly. En-suite toilet is really small.

The tiled floor in the room was too cold on the feet. It was December and cold outside though. It’s basically a restaurant that has rooms above. There aren’t really any staff managing hotel. The restaurant staff were a bit unfriendly at times.

It was in a good position for the town and it was clean and comfortable.

The heater took hours to warm up the room and was required to run constantly to maintain the warmth. This was most likely just because we were the only guests at the time, so no other heaters were running, and it was on average -1 outside. Not a big deal and we were comfortable once it did get warmed up.

Interesting layout with the shower in the bedroom, also my door was jammed so couldn’t open it fully to get into my room. Had a lot of trouble with the heater so was freezing at night, but it finally worked on my last day and was so hot! So that was probably just me

Good location if you want to be closer to the train station. Room was clean and staff were helpful. Room was serviced every day which was a nice surprise. Room just lacked a few amenities that would improve the stay, kettle, tea, coffee, shower gel, etc. TV also only had one working channel. All in all a great option for Bruges where affordable options are limited.
