The lambs should be switch off from different places. no sound proof walls, you can hear anything happens in the streets or the corridors of the hotel.

Only feedback would be that everything extra was just more expensive than it needed to be - down to the parking, which (whilst convenient) is 30 Euros per night.

Martin's Klooster is a lovely hotel, our room was very modern and well equipped - the bathroom in particular was great. A few minutes walking to the centre of Leuven, but in a pleasant and quiet spot at the same time.

Very kind and supportive personnel, fantastic location close to old town centre, luxury modern bathroom and large comfortable room (Superior). Room design corresponding with the heritage of the city of Leuven. Nice bar and tasty breakfast. Underground parking spacy enough for big car.

We booked a suite thinking that it would be the best room (priority a comfortable bed and a quiet room) however, the suites are located in the older part of the building, on a sort of bridge which cars pass under. When cars passed under it was noisy / woke us up in the evening. The bed was also hard and the mattresses are old. The furniture feels very worn out and spots under the furniture we’re not vacuumed properly. That being said, we asked to move to a different room in the new building and wow what an improvement; comfortable beds, peace and quiet and a smaller but more luxurious feeling bathroom. The staff did a great job accommodating the room change. There was one comment made by a night time staff member upon check in that we found a bit rude. He said “it says you are from UAE but you don’t look ARAB” when actually my husband who was standing beside me is from Dubai. So we found this comment strange and did not make us feel welcome. I assume the night time staff are at a different level to the lovely staff we interacted with in the day time.

The room in the new part of the hotel was quiet and comfortable. The day time staff were very helpful in accommodating our needs from booking taxis to helping us change to a new room. I am often in Leuven visiting family and this is the only hotel that I feel comfortable at. The breakfast is good too.

You can only make a coffee in the room but no tea and the coffee machine is not in a good spot, difficult to reach. The deck outside could use maintenance or nice flowers

Second stay in this lovely hotel. Massive rooms, nice decor, huge comfy 4-poster bed, Nespresso machine and fridge in room. Friendly staff, not too far from nice areas to go out to eat/drink, although quite a walk from the station. Good air con and wifi.

One of our three rooms only had a bath tub (no shower), which was a little disappointing (though mentioned in the detailed description).

Beautiful hotel in a very walkable location. They even had a bike storage room (with e-bike plugs!), which was a pleasant surprise. Quick check-in experience too.

If I really need to be picky: the desk in the room was on the smaller side to get some work done comfortably. Otherwise no negative remarks.

Very nice room overlooking the old cloister's courtyard. Big bathroom with a separate bath and walk-in shower. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast was great and staff very friendly.

Way too expensive for the tiny room. Barely enough room to move at all. We couldn't even let the cleaning staff in because you couldn't see the floor with the beds and luggage. Wouldn't stay there again.

The breakfast is too expensive.

The location is very calm, the hotel is finely decorated and, its appearance is very modern. The wall and ceiling insulation is superb: I never heard any noise from outside and from other rooms.

Our room was in a dark corner with little daylight (a bit claustrophobic). Our bathroom sink didn't drain at all. We informed the reception about this problem and they said they would take a look, but it didn't get fixed during our stay.

My only negative point was the lack of accessibility for wheelchairs/pushchairs. There were ramps by reception but nothing by the guestrooms.
