Interesting property being a part of the old mill, Tastefully decorated, spacious, clean and with a excellent breakfast! Will try to book it again on our annual trip to Europe. Overall a very pleasant and relaxing experience. Thank you very much guys! D&D

This place is amazing and was truly beyond our expectations. The interior is beautiful and all details are so thoughtful . Comfortable and cozy rooms have everything what guest may request Area around hotel is also prepared to serve to guest : summer cafe , playground for kids and even small waterfall. Special thanks for owners for their kindness , care and willingness to help to each guest . We will definitely recommend this place to our friends and will return once again

Fantastic hosts, beautiful accommodation and peaceful setting. Could not have been made to feel more welcome - hospitality at its finest. Rooms are lovely and spacious, nicely done with lovely finishing touches. Breakfast was excellent. Would heartily recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay near Ghent.

The location is very nice with the river running by and surrounded by woodland and fields. The layout and age of the buildings gives the place a nice character. The breakfast was great and it was nice to be welcomed with a drink. The attention to detail was really appreciated.

Exceptional place: room was nice, comfy and very clean; the breakfast includes fresh and tasty products; the rest of the property (incl. the bar) is calm and kids-friendly. Most important, the owners are very friendly, professional and take utmost care of their guests/clients (they are always happy to help of give advice). we have seen a lot of places but this one is (one of) the best!

We loved the quiet and peaceful setting, looking out over the countryside from our bedroom window. The stunning room and bathroom were gorgeous. The breakfast buffet filled every imaginable desire. Best of all we’re the friendly hosts who knew how to make everyone at every age feel welcome and cared for.

Beautifully renovated building, mixing modern interior with the original exterior and structure. The hosts are very kind, helpful and always available. The position is perfect to have wonderful hikes in the country side, with signaled paths.

very beautiful, quiet and calm place to stay. I spent 2 nights there in peace and i loved every moment of it. The Hosts were fantastic as was the delicious and fresh breakfast. 10/10 would recommend anyone wanting to visit ghent (30min drive) or bruge (1 hour drive). Definitely worth it, rooms were well equipped and clean throughout.

Wonderful setting in nature. Warm welcome and helpful advice on restaurants. Hof ter Biest is nicely decorated and offers a lot of space. Breakfast is just...perfect. Lovely large outdoor terrasse and bar for sunny days. We have enjoyed every minute of our stay here!

The property is a gem - a renovated farmer house, next to a watermill, with the highest regard for authenticity, local character and guest comfort. Impeccably clean, with a lot of attention for details. The breakfast is amazing, a lot of variety, in a scenic sphere. The hosts are vey kind and passionate about giving information about the geography and the history of the area.

Wonderful location with direct access to a hiking path along the river. The building is simply amazing. A great combination of ancient features in a fully restored and modern country house / old farm. Outstanding breakfast with very high quality products. Exceptionally kind owners who provided us with the warmest welcome. They even booked a table for us at a nearby local restaurant which was great (: All in all, this place is the perfect get away if you are looking for a cosy atmosphere and the best comfort.
