Many facilities are broken. No lights above bed in female room. No curtains or jalousie !! Seriously? In front of many others windows. Absolutely uncomfortable to change clothes in darkness. Otherwise several guys smoking close to the window will observe nude woman. That is not normal. One shower for the whole floor instead two. There is only hot water in sink ?! Noisy during night time in reason bad sounds protections with next room.

Good location and friendly staff. There is bar in living room. As well breakfast provided by partners hotel is perfect.

I liked that the staff was quite cooperative and friendly. There was a bar on the ground floor which had books and games too which was nice. I could spend good time there and made some friends too.

It was a little bit confusing because the place is located in a different street from the address. The pillow wasn’t very clean.

The location and the bathroom was clean. They have a luggage storage room for free :) I could arrive late for the check in

Showers could get a little gross sometimes. The handle on the shower by itself on the 3rd floor kept coming off.

Staff was friendly and went out of their way to help us out. The place was comfortable, and the rooms were clean. The location is great too!

Another friendly, helpful staff member needed more "training" in terms of knowledge about Brugges restaurants and sites, to be very helpful. This is a high standard I'm suggesting but I think it would be a small expense for management to invest in an information session for new staff who are not from Brugges.

While all staff were helpful, one of the staff members, a young local from Brugges, gave me exceptional assistance helping me prioritize what to see in Brugges.

The spiral staircase is old and creeks a bit, but this is not necessarily a negative & adds character to the place. The toilet and shower facilities could be improved.

Surprising great value for money. Helpful staff. Very clean facilities. Bed was comfortable. The room had a decent view of the village.

Actually we so much enjoyed. Location was perfect. Also hostel's special days (etc. beer testing day, game day, make waffle day) were very excellent. We plan to come again next year. That was true choise for us. Thank you Lybeer!

Nothing against the building/establishment (as a whole) but do be aware that there are limited bathrooms/showers available per wing.

Great spot to be if you are keen to stay right in the heart of town/close to the train station. The beds are very comfortable, and the free coffee/tea is a huge plus!

I stayed in the single room with shared bathroom on the first floor. The room was clean and had a sink. The shared bathroom was spacious and looked newly renovated. The staff were friendly.

The staff are so friendly and engaging, they're helpful and seem to care a lot about making a good hostel environment. The beer tasting event was fun and educational and they encourage people to talk. With all the events and the great social area it's good for first time hostellers learning how to socialise that way and it is in an area that makes it so easy to see all the sights of Brugge. I loved it!

Cramped stairs made it hard to move luggage around. Moreover, in the evening, there was boiling hot water in the sink and the showers and it was impossible to lower the temperature.

One downside I would say was the shower facilities, as on both times using the shower the pressure was very weak and water took a very long time to reach hot from cold. Other than that I have essentially no complaints, due to being an old building the staircase was fairly narrow with small steps but this was not a problem for me personally, and I was on the top floor.

Beautiful location right in the heart of Bruges, close to basically all main locations whilst also being very quite on the hostel street itself, location was a huge positive. The hostel itself was generally great and the daily activities were amazing (free waffle making & tasting upon my arrival was superb) and ran by the wonderful bartender! And all in all the room was generally good!

the stairs oh my lord, no lift and very steep omg not very safe make sure to request favourable room in advance otherwise can’t complain

easy location very old building but lovable my room as very clean and lovely suitable for solo travellers and considering it was a hostel quite lovely
