The bathroom is very small. The bed linen that was given to us was very stained. However, it was quickly replaced when we ask the front desk for new ones.

The front office staff is super nice and kind, always available to help. The possibility to keep our luggage there after check out, in a locked room, while we explore the city.

It's a bit loud if you would like to sleep. But it's a youth Hostel so I guess everyone count with that.

Big room, cleaned every day. Very warm and comfortable in the room for 4. Very nice welcome at reception. They have a luggage room. Great breakfast. Mini market 2 minutes away which is also open on weekends

Very noisy at night, from customers and slamming doors. Towels available with a fee. Bed linen must be collected from reception and returned at checkout.

Very convenient location close to Brussels North Station, private bathroom, friendly staff, good wifi connection, heating, basic but good breakfast.

I stayed in a mix room, I only had to share the room with a man from Pakistan, but he was deliberately smoking!! All night!!! I reported this with the staff, and asked for another room, but nothing available apparently, I didn't want to confront the guy to avoid problems since there were no other rooms available and I would have to deal with him all night. The staff did offered to talk to him, but I preferred not to, precisely thinking I had no other option. Smoke detectors might be needed.

Staff amazing, Spaces clean, a lot of ways to help to save energy with sensors for lighting, sheets to be cleaned, how to separate your residues after breakfast, etc, all great.

1. Breakfast is very basic. I would rather pay a lower price and have no breakfast included. 2. There's a restriction to the max number of days you can stay (imposed by the city, so it's not their fault, but that's ridiculous). 3. The bathroom in the dorm was smelly (maybe because there's no ventilation). 4. There's no lockers in the rooms (though that can be seen as extra security; you can still leave valuable items in the storage room downstairs).

1. Friendly staff. They were always ready to help. I had to ask them many times to open the storage room for me, and they always did it promptly and with a smile. 2. The place is a bit far from the city center, but the location is still good, in my opinion. 3. The place looks modern and is clean. 4. The bathroom in the dorm is small, but really nice (though it was a bit smelly). 5. There's a refrigerator in the dorm, and a stove too (but I wouldn't like someone cooking smelly food there).

There's no hand soap in the toilets, so no possibility to wash your hands after going to the toilet. I'm also not sure how well it's been cleaned as there was a jar of tomato sauce on the kitchen counter, while the room was supposed to be empty and cleaned when I entered and I saw some dust in a corner, which makes me wonder when was the last time the floor were cleaned

It's very close to the metro and Brussel Noord train station. The staff is kind and the rooms have an own kitchen and bathroom

The bathroom was tiny & it's hard to take a shower without bumping into the walls. You have to bring your own towels & you get your bedsheets at the reception & when you check out you're expected to bring them back. There was only one night stand between the 2 beds.

The staff at Van Gogh was very friendly & helpful. They made our breakfast when we had to check out very early in the morning. The hostel is close to a lot of Carrefour shops & restaurants. The room was spacious. Breakfast's included & it does contain fruit as well as ham, cheese, yogurt, cereals & tea/coffee.

Good location, not so far by walk from the city center. Close to the metro station. We stayed at a 4-beds room with private bathroom. The room was clean, divided into 2 separate sections with 2 beds each. Decent Wi-Fi. Friendly and helpful staff. The reception is open all night. Good value for price.

The kitchenette in my room was quite dirty.

The staff were very friendly - they accommodated me and my baggage even when I wasn't checked in or out.
