Can’t fault what we experienced. We extended our stay once we saw the location of the hotel and our room.

Location, welcome from reception who provided us with map and pointed out places of interest. Room had a balcony which was a bonus and size of room for Europe was above expectation. The shower was hot and good pressure. Bed and pillows suited us.

A small thing, but more TV channels would have been good. We didn't try the breakfast, as 14 Eur seemed like a lot, but you never go hungry in Belgium.

Great location, near all the major sights and loads of places to eat and drink nearby. Room and bed very comfortable and a good size. Our room had a nice terrace. Very quiet, felt a bit like a cocoon in the best way possible.

The location is great for those who want to be in a quiet environment, yet close to the center. The room is spacious and very well decorated, great king size bed to rest after a day of touring the city! Excellent choice

Overall satisfactory , however one or two fittings not quite functional, plug missing in pedestal sink, one of the lights adjacent to the bed not working spare heaters in the room and bathroom . . (were the installed radiators not functional?)

The bathroom handle was broken. The floor is lifting. The hallway carpets were badly kept. A little effort and not much money would have helped.

They were not fussy - lent us a kettle and glasses.

While friendly, the staff were did not help us with out luggage and it was a real rabbit warren to get from building 1 with many little staircases and steps through to building 2 where our room was. No lift available to our area of accommodation.

Ten minute walk from the train station and a short walk into the main area of the town. Good eateries closeby and lots of places to explore nearby.

It was a small issue: but the TV in the room was not connected to any satellite so I couldn't watch any TV. But I am pretty sure it was a small mistake and would have gotten it fixed if I stayed longer. WiFi was a little slow but I could still do everything I wanted. Also be a little careful with some of the doorknobs, switches or buttons. They are kind of old and may require some gentleness to use.

I stayed at this hotel for a day prior to my cruise and was hoping that it would be a cheap little hotel that would let me store my luggage. I arrived on a coach bus at about 7 in the morning, and knowing that the check in time said that it was around 2:30- I thought that I would be lugging around my heavy backpack around the town squares. But lo and behold', the nice receptionist at the counter gave me a free upgrade to a superior double room to accommodate me: and I could take a shower and explore the town without a backpack around 8 in the morning. The room itself was fantastic- it did not smell, it gave me a modern bathroom with a bathtub, and a splendid, very comfy double bed with clean floors and a cozy attic atmosphere without making it feel poor. As I stayed there for only a night- I did not bother fixing the small issues. Therefore, I thought it was worth the money and time for a very comfortable trip.

The property is nice but is quite dated. We stayed at the top floor and the main heating was broken, we only had an electric heater in the room. The bathroom was small. It was also quite loud with birds and the rain was really annoying when hitting the roof, you could hear everything.
