Room size is very small. This is ok when you travelling without luggage. It'a s pity that you cant open the window for fresh air, air conditioner not always can be useable. Some more hangers and spare chair in the room is required. When building the hotel it could have been calculated to make more space between the doors inside, as accedently opening room door it met bathroom door with a big hit and I had difficulties to enter the room, as bathroom door blocks it.

Very comfortable bed, very quite hotel, good for relax and rest. Travelling from nearest train station takes about 3 minutes, it's big street, very convenient. Bar on the first floor is good, offering some local brands of beer. Breakfast was excellent.

The cleaning staff needs to be consistent in terms of their cleaning and completing their work.

The staff, they were simply awesome. A special thanks to Shannon who provided us with a table fan. A sincere thank you. Also, all other staff members that i can remember - Shannon, Islam, Luca (both), Lucia, Bo, Hussam, Sasha, David, Fredrico, Eslam and other staff people whom i cannot recall their names. were so looking forward to help not just us but every customer. The reception area is always a very busy and happening place. One of the few GEM hotels in Europe/ Belgium i think. Though the Brand is the same, IBis Budget Bruges was completely opposite to the treatment given us here by IBis Budget Dampoort.

Making it impossible to open the windows in the rooms is a bad idea. The air inside the rooms is still stuffy, especially when there's more then one person. Also, having to use the hotel key to operate the elevator is a complete waste of time.

Charge of 18 euro per night for car park is too expensive. Normally it is supposed to be free of charge for hotel guests . It is unacceptable! There is no complimentary water or glass to use tap water.

We were unfortunate and had reeeeally noizy neighbors (school excursion) but other than that, the stay was really pleasant. Also there was no wardrobe, so it was a bit inconvenient for two persons with big luggage.

The room was very clean and cozy, despite its size. The location was also good : right next to a train station and nice walking distance from center.

Breakfast wasn't various. The card we received didn't work and we needed to go down to reception again. No telephone in the room.

The reception staff were very polite, supportive and friendly. It was our second time at IBIS hotels. Their staff were super and service-minded. We got a larger room than we booked. I thought it was around 16mm instead of 12mm. The room was clean and bigger than I expected. The hotel has Gym, Table tennis and bars.

The hotel is very accessible with the car and it has a parking place on site. The reception and the cafe areas are nice and cozy. Although the rooms are super small, they're very clean. It's very close from the city center (15 min walk). The staff is friendly.

The room was quite small, but if you just stay there for sleeping it is not a problem at all.

The room was very clean and had everything we needed, including toiletries and a hair dryer. We slept very well and enjoyed the breakfast at the hotel. Although it was close to a train station we did not hear much noise. The city center was about 20 minutes walk away.

It was the smallest room I have ever stayed in. The air conditioning only worked on heating. It was impossible to open the window and the room was really warm. I talked to the receptionist about and received the answer that the air conditioning is set this way and nothing can be done about it. I went to the bar and asked for a bucket of ice, but I was told that I had to download an application to my phone to order anything. I understand that this is a cheap option when it comes to a hotel, but some things should be solved in a different way...

I got 24 emails asking me to check in online with a link that didn't work so could not check in online. Checking in at reception was quick. However I still got emails about checking in online after I checked in! Not sure if down to issue with booking.com or your system.

Hotel was easy to find and the experience was seamless from checking in to checking out. Staff were friendly and helpful. I liked my pillow so much I've bought one.
