Given that the hotel has parking and therefore will be approached by road, it is almost impossible to see the name of it from a car. A flag or big sign and an indication of what to look out for in the booking information would make a big difference. We drove past twice in either direction and ended up having to park and find it on foot. Other guests arriving at the same time had a similar problem.

Excellent location within walking distance of the centre of Bruges with parking. Room was pleasant and clean and a good size. Staff were very nice and helpful.

The parking place is very unpractical, cannot open directly from outside, have to either ask the reception or first go inside the hotel and go to the gate to open it. Besides the two places next to the gate is very bad, it’s easily blocked by other cars if other people park without their brain.

The room was very hot and the window obviously had to be closed when we were there out. No fan or air con that we could see. Extractor fan in bathroom not very efficient so steam lingered adding to warmth. Needs to be made more obvious that just because the hotel has a car park, doesn’t mean a space is guaranteed - pre booking of space essential.

Beautiful building and furnishings to match. One of the best hotel breakfast buffets I’ve experienced. Spacious room and bathroom. Comfy choice of pillows and bed. Skylight window on top floor room felt luxurious.

Old style hotel that looked as if it need a little renovation. Floors seemed very cold. Pillow too large. Bathroom good but not happy with the shower in a bath. Breakfast O.K. but could have a better selection of fruit, jams etc.

Good, secure parking. Very helpful receptionist. Well-equipped room. Good bed. Hotel close to the city centre.

Sadly we did not pick up that the sauna was an extra charge for some rooms and it shut early before we arrived. Not a problem as the rest of the hotel was perfect and such lovely staff.

There was a strange smell in the room and the sliding door to the bathroom did not always want to stay closed, which revealed you on the toilet to the person sat on the bed. Also only 1 coffee sachet was provided for 2 people staying unless the second person wanted decaf. We were only staying one night so it was fine.

Great location, friendly staff who were happy to help and provided information and a place to hold backs once we checked out. Bed was comfy and shower was good. Good walking distance from the main areas of interest in Bruges.

The stairs to the mezzanine in the family room are very steep and without a stair gate, so the adults slept on the upper level and kids in the double bed!

Great central location with parking. We were able to walk in to the centre of Bruges with young children for dinner. Very comfortable beds. Friendly and helpful staff.

We weren't told how the heating worked in our room, nor was there an explanatory sheet. We were cold the first day until I fiddled a bit with the termostat, which was not clear to use at all. Extra carpets in the bedroom would have been great! The tiled floor was really cold... But these are just small details, the stay and the room were great !!

We didn't get the room we wanted because of renovations, but we were upgraded and the room we did get was magnificent! The stay was complicated to plan because of the change of dates and room (last-minute personal problems), but the staff was present and attentive. The hotel was really beautiful, clean and unique. Very quiet too, a real cocoon. The room was beautiful and atypical (open bathroom, painted ceiling and gigantic glass windows), and my companion and I really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was delicious and copious.
