we came during covid-19. unfortunately one of the restaurant’s servants could not and would not keep the necessary distance. besides this avoidable inconvenience, we loved the place!

Super fabulous place to stay. Everything was perfect. Beautiful Castle, beautiful rooms, beautiful interiors and surroundings. Lavish breakfast and dinner at The Aurum was out of this world. Professional and super friendly staff. I fell in love with this place.

-Our bedroom although it was rich in furniture and decor but it was very crowded with probably the old items of the Kasteel! I recommend to the owner to make a small museum somewhere in the hotel and collect all extra furniture from the rooms an put them in the museum. -I did not like the idea of the receptionist serving us dinner in the restaurant!! Also the head waiter needs to be more relaxed regardless of what is going on in the kitchen! -Waiting for the new Spa and swimming pool!

The grandiose,the park,the food in the restaurant (but not the service), and the breakfast and breakfast room and the man and lady were very helpful and pleasant.

Did not like 'Dinner in the sky' event which took place while we were there as very noisy and intrusive with bright lights in our room at night.

Friendly, welcoming staff, gorgeous château, lovely, clean rooms, comfortable bed and excellent food. Breakfast and dinner were sensational. Will definitely be coming again.

The castle is magnificent, interior and exterior. The garden is delightfull. The staff is very polite and friendly, the food is just excellent. The rooms are superb and super clean. Decoration is beautiful and tastefull.

The furnishing of the property were pastiche. The property felt more like a restaurant with rooms than a hotel with a restaurant. Our reason for saying this was the lack of hotel staff i.e. one receptionist was there only person we saw besides the housekeeping staff. As the main restaurant was not open the only public rooms i.e. lounge bar and sitting room were not open and had no service. The Bistro was the only facility open. For a property which has Relais & Chateaux status this is not the standard we have become accustomed to from this brand.

when you call your self 5 star and you dont give a service of 5 star hotel is very disappoint the bar was close , we ask aperitif the brink from the bistro but ee pay the price of the bar no atmosfer nothink very poor .

The cheating and dishonesty

When we booked our room on booking.com, there were only pictures of the rooms in the old castle. So we booked A room with the hope of feeling the history of that place by sleeping in a castle room. Upon checking in, we were very disappointed to know that our room is in a modern extension (which is architecturally unappealing and can be found anywhere else) which was not clearly mentioned on booking.com. When we complained to the reception, they claimed that they are not aware of what booking.com displays to the visitors. Therefore, we felt cheated and sincerely disappointed. I hope you will be more honest in stating things as should be on your booking.com page.

There is no information on the facilities. You will have to ask everything yourself. Breakfast could have been a bit better. You only get a little bit of juice, etc. The Castle property is pretty, but the surroundings are a bit dull. I expected better service (of the hotel) for this price.

Beautiful castle and very nice rooms. Comfortable and quiet. The restaurant is wonderful with good food and great service. The hotel has a little spa, but bring your own soap for the shower. We had a very good stay, but the service of the hotel was not on the right level for this type of hotel and price
