It was a charming refurbished castle in a quiet location. Very friendly and helpful restaurant staff and receptionist. The room we had was perfect for my little family of 3. My daughter got her extra bed. Beds are comfy. Room is spacious and clean. We had a nice view of the castle garden with fountain. It was nice waking up to that soothing sound of the fountain. Food at their restaurant is superb! I read about it in the guests' reviews. And I agree. Great location. We could have stayed longer.

Kasteel Wurfeld is pretty much a hidden gem. It offers a classic luxury hotel experience for those who don't want to go to the same three hotel chains. The location is very quiet and comfortable for a stroll around the grounds. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful to a point where they make you feel that the entire experience is personalized.

The castle has been renovated a while ago with good and luxurous materials but lack sometimes a little bit of freshness. Overall very nice and chique interiour design.

Nice surrendings. Park with a lot of old trees. Calm. Good combination of friendly and professional accompaignant. Other guests are very polite and nice. Pleasant stay.

The location is remote but if you book a few nights' stay here you would probably plan to spend the evenings on site anyway. The hotel bar although comfortable lacked warmth and coziness

The beds were not particularly comfortable (mattresses and pillows). I might have appreciated some music in the restaurant/cafe, as the silence felt very awkward. Only filter coffee offered in the morning, it would be nice to have an option.

Beautiful place in very nice and calm surroundings. Stroll in the garden was great, even with the bad weather. We had an amazing room for 4 people, very clean and comfortable. The restaurant was also beautiful. Unfortunately we didn't have dinner there -the dishes looked delicious! Breakfast was very satisfying; not a big variety but very good quality products. Also drinks of good quality and reasonably priced. It is nicely located for a visit in Maastricht, Maasmechelen, or even Aachen. Would visit again.

I imagine this hotel was once a magnificent place to stay…. but that was a very long time ago. The waitress at breakfast was very rude, to say the least! On a positive note, I now know where not to stay when I’m in this area.

some minor room issues, ie noise from the minibar, a leaking toilet and a reading light that could not be switched off. These were easily fixable by myself, I even forgot to mention them at checkout.

good location for bicycle roundtrips, or walks. Plenty of place to park bicycles and power plugs for e-bikes. Extremely friendly staff (that is an understatement). Exquisite cuisine for dining, breakfast is good.
