Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

ItalyThe apartment is on the ground floor, probably an ex shop. This is ok if you already know that in Belgium and the Netherlands there are a lot of places like this but if you don’t, it may be a bit weird as there’s enough privacy, not enough natural light and external air. No hand soap, no toilet paper, no shampoo. Just an almost finished body shower.
Amazing position very close to the city centre. Nice design and clean.

NetherlandsPower outlets behind the bed did not work. Very small stairs to the first floor appartement; if you are of a certain age and carry a 20kg suitcase this poses a problem. You can hear the Neighbours walk; but this did not bother me.
Very spacious (no doors inside which I love) and clean. Shower was good and are comfortable. Kitchen had everything a person would need. Hosts made themselves known over the app which I appreciated. Airco a big plus. No hotel in Antwerp can beat what this place offers.

United KingdomHonestly there wasn't anything that would put us off staying here again. As others have mentioned, the stairs are really very narrow so you might want to consider bringing a rucksack rather than a suitcase. The front door to the building has a key code, which was a little temperamental at times, but we got used to it. A tea towel or two would have been a welcome addition to the kitchen, but we only really breakfasted in the studio, all other meals were enjoyed while out and about. On balance, nothing particularly negative!
Fantastic location, just a 10-minute walk from the old city/cathedral area. The street outside was fairly quiet, and there was a supermarket and bus route close by. The studio itself is beautifully clean and spacious with separate zones for living and sleeping.

NorwaySteep and narrow stairs up to the apartment. Gas supply stopped so only cold water in the shower. Sent a complaint about it to the owner, but got no response. Fixed it myself.
Good size of the apartment, clean and well equipped in the kitchen. Not much outdoor noise in the area. Short distance to shops, cafes and restaurants.

United KingdomThe spiral staircase leading to the aparment is narrow. It may be a problem for people with mobility issues. The apartment could be a bit cleaner, but the host has solved the problem.
The location is good and is close to lots of main tourist attractions. The host is friendly and responsive to our queries throughout our stay. The air conditioning is also good that it has made us very comfortable during the hot weather.

The location was perfect, communication with the host amazing. Had some issues with the cleanings but the host apologised, sorted it out and even given me a partial refund. I will be definitely coming back to this place when back in Antwerp!

It's a great value! Good location, not far from restaurants, stores, and metro station. The Appartement is minimalist and very spacious.
