Room was really hot. It was warm out (24 degrees), but it was hotter in the rooms and remained so overnight, which was uncomfortable, even with the supplied fan. One window had a mosquito net. But the other did not. We made the mistake of open both windows and were bitten to death.

Wonderful service. Emiel brought in special provisions for my lactose intolerant wife and was very accommodating. Beautifully presented breakfast, lovely clean rooms and excellent bathroom.

The room was exceptionally clean and well equipped with plenty of towels and toiletries. The breakfast was amazing with fresh pastries that change each day. The scrambled eggs and bacon is a must. The location was slightly out from the centre of Bruge but is a nice walk. Well worth staying here if visiting Bruge, you will struggle to find better.

Beautiful room, superbly appointed and finished. Spotlessly clean, a joy to stay in. Although relatively expensive (of the six places we stayed during our trip, this was the most expensive), the room and breakfast were faultless. Situated in a quiet residential street, there is (chargeable) private parking - on street parking requires a pass and is limited to 2 hours. The room was superb, very comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was a real treat, everything was superbly presented and delicious.

We wish we had known sooner about the insect screens since we were eaten alive.

It's about 15 minutes from the centre but a lot quieter for that. We went in summer and about 2 minutes away there is an outdoor bar in a park. Fantastic. Breakfast and our host were great.

Lovely clean and stylish room with amazing bathroom, easy secure parking, very friendly, helpful host, nice walk into the main town, quieter than central Bruges, one of the best breakfasts we've had - easily on par with the best 5* hotels

I absolutely loved this place, I just wish it was a little closer to the town center. It was worth the walk!

We booked the room with a tiny balcony. Unfortunately, the neigh bors chain smoked day and night. So, our room would fill with smoke and it sorta sucked. So much for the outdoor experience. Just book a room without the balcony, forgo the second hand smoke. Be sure to get out during the day and explore!

We were greeted with a smile and lots of information about where we were and what we could go see during our visit. The room was clean & tidy. It was very enjoyable :-) breakfast was absolutely lovely! We had fresh fruit,fresh pastries,fresh coffee and fresh eggs :-) the location is slightly off Town center so you would need to walk in... about 10 minutes to get into the downtown area. Totally doable.

the attention to detail was outstanding and the cleanliness was a 10/10 . the staff went above and beyond to welcome us with what I can only say was probably one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever experienced. we would recommend la maison Bruges and 100% return . fab fab fab .

We would have liked breakfast at 8.30 till 9..30 rather than 9 till 10 Room safe did not work Fly screen door was loose at the bottom - we did talk to the owner regarding last 2 points

Excellent location, only a 10 minute stroll into the centre through some lovely streets. Room was larger than expected, spotlessly clean and styled well. The sweets were a lovely touch. The host was amazing, we couldnt stay for breakfast the next morning so he made us a lunch bag which was full of pastries, lunch rolls and drinks. Very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.
