We stayed in the main building and of course the villa is vintage this means you can hear when someone of the next door guests come to their rooms, when they leave their rooms etc. Somehow (don't ask me how) there is this mutual respect among guests and we could not hear late night noises, voices so we were able to rest well.

At the check in you are introduced to the house rules (there is no reception so the intro is handy to know your way in the house and respect their rules). Breakfast is amazing - seriously it was great, and a good quality also of all ingredients they serve. Somehow even if the house is full there is no overcrowd feeling, we used the pool daily and we were 'alone', we ate in the evening and somehow we were 'alone' - it is really a great atmosphere where everyone respects everyones privacy. My kids loved the playground outside (swing, slide, trampoline) as well as the mini gold. We loved walking in the beautiful well maintained garden and leaving 'nuts' for the squirrel (they visit quite often outside areas). Inside the pool is great but as well the snooker and kids playing room. Of course very much appreciated was also the parking area.

Everything was absolutely perfect! It feels like home from minute 1, and the breakfast, rooms and spa are great. The staff is wonderful, they even went out of their way to find gluten free bread for me. We will be back!

Amazing stay from all perspectives: welcome, decoration & surrounding nature , comfort, breakfast, location, Spa. It's our go to place in Belgium for a chill weekend. + Free coffee/tea/water and sparkling water. + Free robes and slippers for the Spa. + Access to the beautiful kitchen to prepare your own food if needed. The welcome was excellent. Any staff we encountered were friendly and professional. The building is stunning, with beautiful interior design details. They really think of everything! Two excellent coffee machines in the communal areas and one in the room also! Our son was in heaven with the good sized pool, the kids play room with Wii and the billiards and kicker table! Happy parents also that he was so entertained meant we could relax and enjoy the lovely ambiance in front of the log burner with a drink from the Honesty bar. The weather wasn’t great but we still managed a round of mini golf and a jump on the huge outdoor trampoline! Our room was great, everything you could possibly need. Bath robes, pool towel and slippers also included. The late check out of midday was well utilised with another swim in the pool and a leisurely breakfast. All in all a super weekend and wish we could have stayed longer!

Although the room was very good, the bed itself was not very comfortable, including mattress and pillows. Also the meal we ordered from the local traiteur didn't work well for us, because the instructions for reheating it and preparing the plates were not clear, and we ended up losing the truffle sauce that should be served with the veal. It was a pity because it seemed to be very good.

Great ambiance, decoration, excellent vibe. Breakfast was really good, had everything we needed and wanted. The spa, swimming pool and sauna are very good, ideal for relaxing and we could even enjoy some sun outside. The kitchen is fantastic and can be used to cook or reheat your meal among other guests, in a very comfortable and friendly ambient. We had our own table for the whole stay. There is a space in the fridge for each guest to keep your food and drinks always fresh. The "honesty bar" is a great idea, a small fridge from where you can serve yourself with local beers and wine, you just have to write what you took, to pay at check-out. A espresso machine is available all time at the reception area. The room was really nice, spacious and cosy. Bath and shower were a must. Excellent stay, it exceeded our expectations.

Calm location, beautiful main house, amazing garden and very relaxing atmosphere. Very friendly service and good breakfast. Pool and massages were also very enjoyable. It was our first and rather short stay, but we would love to return.

Beautiful property. There is a lot of space which allows for a nice vacation even during covid times. The pool is a very appreciated bonus.
