    Nothing really!

Although this hotel is located in the middle of Waterloo, it is a block back from the main street and is truly an oasis of peace and tranquility. The garden is absolutely lovely and you can sit outside and enjoy a drink from the bar. The rooms are comfortable and the service is excellent. The person who checked me in opened the garage for me so I could safely store my bicycle and was just super helpful in general. I will stay again.

Very friendly and helpful staff! They let us park our scooters in the garage so they would be safe and dry, that was super! We also had an upgrade of the room. It was a really pleasant stay :-)

We arrived by bicycle and were pleasantly surprised by the hotel's setting which was set back from a busy road featuring a patio, creating a pleasant atmosphere right away. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was just right.

    Nothing

Excellent location. Just 100m from the Tourist Office and the Wellington Museum. Set back from the main road so it is peaceful and quiet. Ample private parking available. On site bar and restaurant. Set menu in the restaurant is good value with 3 courses including amuse bouche, wine and water coming in at €50. All recent changes to Covid restrictions are in place and the breakfast buffet is now open for business. The main Waterloo battlefield is 5km away. Would definitely recommend if you are visiting Waterloo.

A better selection at breakfast and maybe fresh orange juice and bigger plated breakfast

Breakfast was nothing special. And receptionist first told us it’s euro 15 adults and euro 8 for a five year old girl. When bill was given at the end of the stay she charged me euro 20 each including the child. Then after I questioned it she reduced it. But for euro 20 or 15 food was poor

The beds were narrow and the mattresses were uncomfortable. The toilet door had no lock and was quite open. The breakfast was not too varied.

The location was great. The hotel was clean and nicely designed. The garden outside was beautiful and with great vibe.

I have stayed here a few times and the room temperature control has always been a problem. It doesn’t work full stop, and the rooms are hot and stuffy. i also find the lighting quite dim, especially in the bathroom where it is more essential!

situated off the Main Street but accessible to everything, this little oasis provides a noce relaxing atmosphere.

A bit noisy in the evening from the customers at the cocktail bar. Disappointed we could not eat on any night in the Hotel restaurant as was told fully booked. When passing on 2 occasions, once around 8:30 and the other around 10:00 we noticed many empty tables.

Clean, and comfortable sheets and bed. A pleasant surprise to have BBC TV in English. Very close to the main high street and a good choice of restaurants within walking distance.

Not a “4 Star” Hotel. Lacklustre service and facility.

A “Four Star” hotel with no water boiler or mugs, or complimentary tea or coffee, with only 1 glass, 1 bottled water, 1 set of towels for a room for two. There’s only one person on stand by who’s overwhelmed with all the things they’re in charge for. Moreover it took them a solid 1 hour just get us some plates and cutleries. Not blaming them, but the hotel and management, it’s just not effective to have ONE person in charge of everything. When asked about the water boiler, the lady said “We’re not required by law for certain room types” which screams ‘Hey, listen, we’re only giving our ‘valued’ customers whatever is the bare minimum.’ This is the first time I stay in a 4 star hotel with such approach, mind-boggling.

Bed:- Too soft. Mini Bar:- Fridge was broken. A/C:- Very weak. In addition, received a letter from Management stating that I should not keep the a/c running when the room is unoccupied due to the cost of electricity and saving the planet (but the weather reached 30 degrees and the room was very, very warm!). Room Service:- To be booked a day in advance.

The room was very cold on arrival and took some time to warm up with the overhead air conditioner - and that is then quite noisy. As I've said the room lighting is too dark. The bathroom extractor fan is also very noisy when its triggered every time you turn on the bathroom light.

Check was fast and efficient. Rooms are quite spacious and clean although I find the lighting in the room is a bit dim. excellent bar - great for meeting colleagues for a drink. The hotel is well placed for shops and restaurants in Waterloo.

Someone in front of us booked a room. He was able to book a smoking room - I am amazed that they have places that allow smoking in hotel rooms. The price-quality for this hotel is not the greatest - I expected something nicer for the price that we paid (especially compared to all other hotels which were a lot nice and often cheaper). Finally we had a bit of a bad experience on our second day breakfast. One of the other customers was clearly unwell. She was pale, coughing, and moving around a lot to get to the front of the hotel and back to get some fresh air. It made us feel uncomfortable and we took our breakfast to our room to finish. Personnel should keep an eye out during the pandemic.

This hotel felt like a standard business hotel. When we arrived we were upgraded to the "executive suite" which raised our expectations. In reality it was a bang standard room with not much setting it apart from any other room. The lady at the reception was very helpful. Our bikes could be stored securely.

The room was boiling hot when I entered because the windows were open and sun beating down. They said they were not going to enter the room due to COVID but they came in anyway. I paid for breakfast only one day but they charged me for both days - I didn't realise it until after I departed.

Good location in the centre of Waterloo.
