I would have enjoyed a small basic gym. A charging station for electric vehicles would have been convenient.

Hearty and classy breakfast. The gastronomic restaurant was excellent as well, and I really enjoyed the personal words from the chef after the service.

Considering the cost per night was in the 400-500 EUR range, I was quite disappointed with some of the other amenities/products in the suite. The tea & coffee set up was poor. The bath & shower products were basic & there were not enough of them. No snacks or minibar. I also found the cost of some of the extras to be way too high. We used a small amount of firewood over the two night stay & were charged 70-80 EUR. I also thought that some of the staff lacked friendliness & there was not a sufficient amount of attention to detail when it came to the general service. Considering the price the service was not up to standard.

We stayed in a garden suite. They suite was nicely decorated with tasteful design, conformable beds, nice linen/towels & a decent shower. We had dinner in the restaurant (fine dining). The service was good & the food was delicious!

Lovely, romantic place and great food, but expensive for the room I had, and no spa (yet).

The room "chambre prestige de luxe" (which was under the roof) was dark, with only three small windows, of which only one could be opened to let in some fresh air. Also, the bathroom was extremely small: very narrow with just a sink and a shower cabin. The shower was tiny, and being 1.85m tall, I had to squeeze myself in there. Not really comfortable... I had one meal in the restaurant, which was VERY expensive. I had planned to eat in the restaurant every night of my stay, but ended up cancelling that plan for reason of cost. Despite the email from booking.com saying the spa was expected to be finished in 2022, there still were no spa facilities in September 2023...

The setting is fabulous. The building has been restored beautifully and respectfully, a true gem! The room itself (chambre prestige de luxe) had a very good bed and had a small bathroom and a separate toilet. Lovely little salon as well. All staff spoke fluent Dutch and French (I did not test any other languages :-)). I had one meal in the restaurant, which was delicious. Congrats to the chef. Breakfast was copious with a lot of choice.

The environment, the castle and the service and food were excellent specially thanks to the people in charge who are going the extra mile to make your stay an unforgettable experience! An ideal place for a romantic gateway where you can enjoy tranquility, privacy and balance in one of the most beautiful spots in the Ardennes.

We had a duplex room with a classic style spiral staircase to the bed area which was a challenge. (Only suitable for small and flexible people.) Bathroom was very small and shower had a showercurtain that was a dissapointment.

Beautiful well renovated castle. Very nice staff. And a very, very good restaurant for lunch and diner with excellent food en wines. Room was clean. Oppurtunity for a nice walk in nature around the hotel (forest with river). Free charching for car.

Tasteful chateau-hotel in breathtaking Ardennes with friendly staff, but bit pricey for the service.

Unfortunately the internal restaurant only offered a fixed 5 to 7 courses fine dining menu. That was nice for one time, but a couple of nights in a row only having the option for so many courses is not healthy for the body and neither for the wallet. Why not offering some a-la carte options for the not so big eater? And at Xmas morning, we were not allowed to have a normal breakfast in the hotel, as the only choice was to participate in an all-day Xmas event including late brunch, for which we had no time. So we had a Xmas day without breakfast. Also, although the interior of the room was very tasteful, it was also done in almost minimalistic style, so that practical use sometimes suffered a bit: for example, there was not even a place in the bathroom to put any toiletry bag somewhere, but on the floor only. For a hotel with such room-prices, you would expect a little bit more.

Very tastefully renovated chateau in the beautiful Belgium Ardennes area. The hotel opened one year ago in the centuries old castle and the interior is tasteful, very light and almost minimalistic but good fitting within such an historic building, not kitch at all (as you sometimes see in other renovated castle-hotels). The staff was usually very friendly and the surrounding area of the chateau with its forests is really breathtaking, a perfect location from where to explore the villages and nature.

    - Breakfast was very poor and very expensive for what you get. We were offered a small platter of cheese and ham and it was not fresh but it had changed colour as it seemed that it had been kept out or in the fridge for too long time. They had cereal but there was no milk on the desk, you had to ask for it. It had only a few options to choose. For €30 euro per person it was very disappointing. - The amenities in WC and shower were very minimal apart of the bathrobe and the sleepers. - The water bottles in the fridge that were offered for free were half empty and opened from the previous tenants and were not replaced. I had to go down to the reception to ask for new - We were not given a key card for the room as the system was not working when we arrived (it was midnight) so they came upstairs to open the door for us. And we got a key card next day in the morning. - The parking is a bit far from the castle and you need to drag the suitcases up to the castle.

    - The location in the forest and the surrounding environment - The architecture of the castle - The staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful, he helped us as much as he could for everything - They had champagne option at the breakfast buffet (?)

Quite disorganised dinner service, should have had staff designated to individual tasks i.e. a sommelier serving wine, someone else serving food and someone else clearing. 6 course tasting menu took 4 hours… Need to improve communication between bookings and kitchen/waiting staff, we had informed the hotel of my husband’s fish allergy but he was served fish twice. Will be nice when they have enough staff to open the bistro so that you could have a bigger choice of what to eat rather than only the tasting menu. A spa would be nice, but I do understand they have only been open since last August and there are still things to do.

Beautiful hotel, very well refurbished. Bar was very cool. Room was excellent and the staff very friendly.

A Disappointing Stay Amidst High Hopes We were filled with excitement for our weekend stay at the chateau, but our experience fell drastically short of expectations. Our encounter started on a negative note, where the receptionist was extremely rude during our inquiry about the on-site dining options, to the point of raising his voice and telling us to 'get out.' With two expectant mothers in our group, a lack of basic amenities like hot water further ruined our stay. Our discomfort escalated when we discovered cockroaches in our room—a clear lapse in cleanliness and hygiene. Despite prior communication, our dietary preferences were completely disregarded, which left us scrambling for suitable meal alternatives. This was a far cry from the hospitable and accommodating experience we were anticipating. Unfortunately, based on our awful stay, I find it hard to recommend this chateau for a serene and enjoyable weekend getaway. Extremely Upsetting!!

    Everything was great.

The castle is very well located near Saint-Hubert. Lots of walks to do around. We booked two rooms and the reception made sure that they were next to each other. The rooms were amazingly spacious and well furnished. We slept very well due to very good beds and the amazing calm of the place. The breakfast was great, taken on the terrace with a beautiful view on the forest.

The hotel cancelled my stay while at the property with 2 hungry and tired kids at 6pm after a long trip. "ops sorry, your room is not available anymore, there was an error between booking.com and us, sorry, good luck" No hotels no rooms at all avaiable in the area, fully booked every where because of the public holiday weekend. Orrible experience.
