Rooms in separate building felt rather basic, sound travelled easily between rooms, bathroom without a window and smelly

Although the room was lovely, you need to upgrade the beds. The mattress topper on a lumpy bed is just not cutting it, I'm afraid.

Tranquillity and nature. A stunning property in private gardens overlooking the beautiful River Meuse. We ate a lovely meal on the romantic terrace before strolling around the garden pathways, followed by a little cocktail at the bar before bed. The staff were great, and breakfast was varied and plentiful.

The place seems to now have a handle on its daily cleaning and maintenance. Such a beautiful place and fantastic architecture... but the management of the place seems to be lacking - Would be a great spot... even 4 star place if there was just that attention to detail. The restaurant is the STAR of the place and once you experience that you almost forget the stark opposite of one's rooms.

The location - nestled in nature but just a short drive off the main road. The restaurant is excellent.

Very nice staff, restaurant and surrounding. We definitely liked the diner, which was very tasty. When reserving the room, best is to reserve the restaurant directly as it is very popular and can be fully booked.

For such a high end and sustainable place, I would have expected vegan food. The room we were assigned was on 2nd floor without elevator, not an easy climb for my elderly dog
