Our room (320) had a very low ceiling, around 2 m, which felt a bit oppressive. There was a loud fan in the courtyard, coming up from the kitchen, which thankfully was stopped around 22:00. However, the room next door had a Jacuzzi, and our neighbours decided to enjoy it at 23:30: it was like having a jet engine in the room... it took a long time to fill up, and then it became even noisier when they started the bubbles. Luckily the whole thing lasted less than half an hour, but if they had been night owls...

It is a very interesting hotel, with innumerable levels of floor and lots of stairs, it looks a bit like an Escher drawing. Room was wide, well furnished, and with a well-appointed bathroom and big shower. All curtains and blinds were electric, and worked. Nice snack tray with reasonable prices. Nespresso machine in room, and also a sofa and a nice TV. The hotel has a large restaurant which looks very pleasant and well attended, but we did not try it. Good breakfast, if a trifle expensive. Location is good for visits to the Citadelle (walkable distance to either the Citadelle uphill or to the cabin lift from the centre). There is some limited parking available, including 3 charging stations for electric cars (which were however ICEd by non-electric cars when we arrived).

Behind the hotel is an event space that often has music / karaoke etc late. If you find it difficult to sleep with noise and the window's open, bring ear plugs.

Room with sauna was lovely. Very comfortable room and bed. They also had parking places that you can reserve, or could give us information on where else to park the car. Also recommend the restaurant - a lovely degustation with paired wines or beers. Only a quick walk to the centre of Namur and close to the main road into the city centre (so is quite easy to get too by driving).

Residents need to book in advance for Grill restaurant as it is very popular

Lots of steps in room, with loo down the stairs from the bed. However, according to reception, it is possible to have rooms all on the same level if required. It was just that Booking.com didn’t offer anything other than suites with jacuzzis at the time we were booking.

We had a suite with jacuzzi bath. It was lovely and spacious with everything you need for a day or two’s stay. We had breakfast, which was a buffet with the usual provisions. We also ate in the ‘gourmet’ restaurant, which was excellent.

I didn't mind all the mini-stairs, it added to the charm. However, the hotel would not work for people with mobility issues.

Beautiful hotel! I loved the exposed brick and beam throughout. It was in a quiet location, but right in historic centre. It was very convenient to have parking included.

Unfortunately, there was no remote to use the air-con and the hotel staff was unable to find one. They did find us a fan, however, which was so appreciated as it would have been a bit muggy without. We booked a room with a "queen" size bed but I think that may have been a stretch - the bed felt quite small for two people.

We always love our stay here and were happy to bring back friends this time as well. Upgraded to the room with a sauna and a tub and both were used!

The breakfast doesn't have many options, the staff at the breakfast room was not polite and the breakfast room is very small.

The location is perfect and the room was very spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was also very big and had a really nice design.

The second bed (sofa) was very low quality and therefore uncomfortable and noisy during the night. Some more personal care items would be appreciated instead of only one all-in-one shower gel/shampoo. Breakfast was poor and very crowded.

The view from the room was on the parking area in front of the hotel, so not particularly applealing, but I had specifically asked for a room on the ground floor, so it is to be forgiven.

We booked a room with private sauna and jacuzzi The hotel was not able to give the asked room. They didn't tell us upon arrival. Only when I came down to complain did they acknowledge the issue and offered us a discount on the rate and free breakfast. Nice of them, but I would have appreciated them taking the initiative themselves Certainly regarding the rate we were supposed to pay that was not the rate for the room we were given

There was an event in the chapel at the rear of the hotel which was noisy and went on late. There are lots of steps to move around in the room and around the hotel. Check out suitability if you are disabled

Room was large and comfortable. Evening meal was excellent but book restaurant early as it gets booked out. We were able to park in the car park at the front of the hotel but it's a bit of a lottery. Hotel is conveniently situated in the town centre

The baby cot was offered with a duvet which wasn’t safe for my 7months old baby as they are supposed to sleep in pretty firm and flat surface to avoid accident suffocation (so that was a bit stressful)

Sleep sofa where my kids slept wasn’t very comfortable. Not easy to communicate because only staff at the reception speak some English (and no other languages except French). In restaurant (breakfast) or cleaning stuff speak only French

Although the room was large with lots of hanging space there were no shelves/drawers to place articles of clothing. House keeping was very good but we had to go to reception a number of times to ask for our shower gel and coffee facilities to be replenished as these had been overlooked. However, staff were very quick to respond to our requests. We were one of a few rooms with no lift access (up 2 flights of stairs). However, the receptionist offered (and subsequently did) carry up my heavy case for me.

Bedroom very spacious, clean and quiet. Excellent shower. Coffee making facilities in room. Good air con (weather very warm). Great location (walking distance to all sights, shops and restaurants). Very helpful and welcoming staff. Free parking (we were lucky as the spaces are limited and once parked we did not use the car again for the whole of our 4 day stay).
