The apartment is gorgeous and it's only 10mins or so walking from the main square. The shower was also a highlight, very hot and powerful!

The train passes pretty close so during the day you hear them pretty often. They do offer earplugs and luckily the trains don't run during the night.

Couldn't close the main bedroom curtains due to their height, I have never seen such huge curtains and maybe a pull system like the blinds in other areas of the accommodation might be better. We would have liked an additional television in the main bedroom as watching it in the children's bedroom had it's limitations and as most parents can sympathise, we would have liked to have sent the children to bed and have our own relaxing time for a short while.

You will be pleasantly surprised from the moment your host greets you at the door. Very friendly staff and impressive entrance hall to the property. Beautiful reception room, decorated in Gothic period style, with a variety of useful information available. We had a private suite on the first floor, as we were a family of 2 adults and 1 child. However, the suite comfortably suits a family of 4. It has all the amenities you need for a short city break and/or base to explore other cities during your stay. Accommodation description is as expected and we were warned about the close vicinity to the railway lines and to expect some noise. This didn't particularly impact on the quality of our stay as we had full days exploring Brussels and slept well. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are very clean, and we had generous amounts of free tea, coffee, fresh fruit and homemade slices of cake. Plenty of clean towels were provided. Added bonus was that the fridge was stocked with a mini bar at very reasonable prices should you wish to take advantage of this before getting your bearings of local shops, of which there are plenty. Great location close to Gare de Midi and Grand Place and easy to find. Felt very safe and secure using this accommodation as the entrance has a VeriSure security system installed. Communication with the host is great too and made themselves very available at reasonable hours.

While the area was under construction, upon opening the massive front door it was clear how beautiful this place was. Top notch service with great added amenities.

As it is near the city center, parking is a challenge. However, there is a parking space available a short walk (but a walk) from the property. There is construction in front of the hotel, which makes driving to and from the location a challenge, but the property is worth it!

The property was delightful, especially since it was a historical home. The room was spacious and it was nice to have an elevator to take our luggage upstairs. The fruit and snack basket was really nice! The rooms were comfortable, and despite being close to the train station, the train sounds were very quiet. Check in was great, and the contacts were very friendly and personable, providing suggestions for restaurants. There is a bakery just a few doors down! It was an easy 10 minute walk to the main center.

Stunning property in good location. Host was very friendly and helpful. Everything you need was in the apartment. Treats on arrival were a lovely touch. Shower was amazing. We were allowed a late check out on Sunday which was very much appreciated.

Beautiful building with real character. Good location, with main museums within walking distance. Close to the Eurostar terminal too.

There are roadworks going on all around the location but it didn't really impact our stay and it wasn't noisy when we were inside the house.

Location was excellent - near lots of amenities and attractions! Host was very thoughtful and allowed us to check in early and leave our bags there on the day of our departure as our flight wasn't leaving until later.

Stalingrad Avenue like a building site at present - needed to walk to the centre to find open restaurants etc.

A really nice apartment - very clean and comfortable. Marc was very helpful too. Only 8 minutes from the Grand Place and 10 minutes to The View Grande Roue area. 10 minute walk to Midi/Zuid Station.

The street in front is being redeveloped and the work started early with some noise and vibration around 630am. Fine for me as I had to get up to go to my meetings, but not ideal if you wanted a lie in!

Maison Jamaer provided a very comfortable, spacious and elegantly furnished studio in a historic building, within walking distance of Brussels Central and Midi stations, and 10 minutes walk to the historic centre. When there was a problem with the studio's coffee maker staff replaced it straight away.

The cobblestones streets to get there walking with a suitcase. Lot's of construction on the street and in the neighborhood so had to do a few walk arounds. Nothing they could have done about that. The room faces the main railway track line so earplugs are essential. I had them so no problem.

Louis was very helpful and made arrangements for me the next day so I didn't have to lug my suitcase around while exploring. Cute room in a real character heritage house.
