Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Belgium- No double bed. Was a shame we could not book a room with a double bed, only 2 separate beds were available - No bath in the room - No bathrobe or slippers present (thought it would be there since there's sauna and swimming pool)
- Breakfast was delicious and well prepared. Everything needed was there. - Hotel super clean and lovely rooms - Fireplace downstairs is cozy and lovely to read a book in one of the couches - Lovely tiny swimming pool and sauna - Super sweet and helpful staff

NetherlandsThe land is quite moist, even when it has not rained. Bring your TEVA sandals.
Nice experience! BBQ, hot-tub under the stars, sleeping in a tipi, outdoor life.

United KingdomWe stayed when it was raining very heavy. The way to our tent was very muddy and soaked with water. They could prepare the ground a bit better, but in their defence: it seemed all very new and the weather conditions were really harsh so hopefully they can fix that in the future. I would still stay again and can definitely recommend the places
Great clamping location. We loved the provided food for dinner and breakfast which you could prepare yourself over the BBQ. A proper adventure for my boys. The staff was very friendly and our clamping tent wry cosy.

FranceIn fact you don't see much when you arrive... It's when you enter the hotel that the charm begins. A cosy lounge with several super comfortable sofas awaits you. The same goes for the dining room equipped with a microwave (tea and coffee available). The room is quite simple; the bedding is perfect! You can "hear" the silence...and the birds. Outside, colourful chiliennes are set up around a large fire! And a great breakfast is served with courtesy and a smile (same for the reception, by the way). BelgiumThe only thing we would have liked is more music... For a music loving family at a music themed hotel....we needed more audio. 😄
Everything was designed to make the guests feel comfortable. The communal areas were well designed and it's evident that a lot of thought was put into the concept and the smile factor. We used the wellness facilities and it was a great time for the whole family.

BelgiumNothing. I would just say that if you are sensitive to noise, you should think about bringing earplugs even if the hotel has a very good isolation you can still hear people and doors in the evening / morning. The wellness is very small so don’t have too much of an expectation!
Staff is very friendly, everything is easy access. You can chill and relax there and the view outside makes you feel totally disconnected from everyday life. Learned to play pool and did that all evening, so nice !

BelgiumOnly thing was a strong smell in the bathroom. Like old stagnat water or something. Wasn't the end of the world. And most likely uncontrollable.
Atmosphere and the fireplace! Overall really awesome. We also really enjoyed the "breakfast in a crate!" Seriously the rest of the industry should take note!

NetherlandsThe reception was understaffed - we often had to ring the bell several times and wait for at least 5 minutes before someone would come. This was during the day so I would have expected that to be better. Also the rooms are too small for two people . You cannot pass each other unless one of the two sits on the bed. Given the price I would say it is a bit overpriced.
We really enjoyed the sauna and the friendliness of the staff. Also the lounge was very nice to sit in the evening. And the weather was pretty bad but the outdoors also looked great to hang out if the weather is nice.

FranceTwo twin beds stuck together don't make a double bed! The rooms are rather small and suffer from a lack of storage place (please add a towel rack!!). The pool is also quite small.
Located outside of town, sufficiently far away from the main road to be quiet yet very close to all amenities, the Daft Hotel is nested in a meadow next to the forest. There you find a modern building that also serves as recording studio. The music theme is thus predominant, both in the commons and in the rooms. We particularly enjoyed (for free) the swimming pool, the snooker table, and the home cinema room (cast from the iPad/Netflix that is provided at your arrival). The breakfast was also excellent, featuring a lot of fresh products from local producers. The relatively small size of the place makes it very pleasant to spend time in the numerous cosy living rooms that are open to the guests, fully equipped with sofas, books, music, and coffee machines.

BelgiumExtremely overpriced. The hotel looks quite recent but it is clear that needs better maintenance to keep looking good. Wellness was very small and usually very crowded. The worse was that we found a blood stain in one of the pillows. Cleaning definitely needs improvement.
Location (close to Malmedy) and cool concept. Breakfast was okay. Home cinema was a nice touch but you need to claim it before other guests to put your film of choice. They have projectors in the room but it is still "coming soon". Once they are functional it will be definitely better to have a room in this hotel. Cozy to sit outsite and has a firepit. Has a very good italian restaurant nearby to eat for a cheap price.

NetherlandsVery small rooms and basically it is a bit like an upscaled youth hostel. We get that their idea is to bring people together but for the price they are asking (149 a night) they need to improve their facilities (eg a coffee maker in the room), a TV etc. Yes, you get a tablet on which you can watch together but that's a bit unfcomfortable if one has to hold it the whole time. There is a communal place (cinema) where you can stream Netflix on a large screen but it was the domain of young and noisy kids. There was a pool but it was dirty (hairs floating) and the sauna is nice but the door does not close properly. So, nice concept but it needs some more attention at the price they are asking.
Nice green area, cozy firepit at night, good breakfast and comfy beds. Very friendy staff.
