Hmm, prices are high everywhere, so it's hard to count. I'd say I missed warm breakfast options, but otherwise, the breakfast was quite nice.

Everything in the hotel was either good or not bad at least. I especially liked the staff of the hotel, - they are welcoming, eager to help, and up to giving good advice about where to go in the city and what to try. In this hotel, I was surprised by a person helping to find a seat during breakfast! Never had such a service before.

The rooms could have a small kettle for quick tea/coffee at odd times

Fantastic service. The receptionist went out of the way to recommend family restaurants that offer a variety of veg options and great tips for parking. The rooms were clean with daily cleaning services (rare in hotels nowadays). The location was perfect for us as it has a small park close by for kids to release energy and not in the main center with noise or crowds.

It’s hard to close the door from the outside, so you have to make some noise and this noise is pretty disturbing for everyone around in other rooms.

It was clean. The smell was good. Friendly staff.

We did not manage to reserve a car parking space at the hotel… it then took us two hours to find somewhere to park…. In a one way system, and with all central car parks full…. The ceiling in room 10 clearly needs painting after addressing some mould. The room had a balcony - which would be a lovely extra with a chair and cleaned… but it currently brought down the feel of the room and we just drew the curtains not to look at it.

Perfect central location. A few minutes walk right into the centre but far enough away to be quiet It has family rooms!!! A rarity it seems. You can drop luggage off / store luggage at the location… which helps with parking. The advice should simply be drop the cases - and then park at central station and walk.

Parking was very frustrating and confusing! The confusion is caused by the write-up for the hotel. The hotel says they have parking at a nearby location. It’s actually at another Hotel! I am not sure why they don’t just say the parking is at another Hotel and provide the name of the Hotel. It’s also a bit of a walk…..especially when you are pulling suitcases in the rain. The parking is actually at Hotel Monsieur Ernest. Hopefully this helps someone.

The bed and pillows were very good. Rooms are updated and are nice as well.

We had a family room and although it was a good size and had a sliding door to separate the kids (brilliant) the room was a bit disappointing. It's tired, carpets are a bit stained, loads of marks everywhere and the beds were just too soft. We actually put the top bunk on the floor because I was worried my son might fall out, there wasn't a barrier. No shower so you had to shower in the bath. It's a beautiful building with a lovely view out of the back it just needs some new beds and lick of paint.

The staff and the breakfast were absolutely lovely and totally made our stay. Really great variety of food, great coffee and the kids loved it. The location was perfect, really close the centre, quiet and chilled.

Room was spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable. Pillows could have been firmer, but that's a personal preference. We stayed at the annex, next door to the hotel at the top floor. Well-designed attic-type space, with very high ceiling, good natural light from all windows.
