Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

IrelandI would love if there were an iron and ironing board in the room, or more easily available. I travel for work and sometimes need to run the iron over an outfit. As I tend to arrive late and leave early it would be very convenient to have this located in the room.
Breakfast is excellent, as is the atmosphere and offering in the bar / restaurant area. Staff are lovely, and the general ambiance is very welcoming.

BrazilThere is no hot counter in the breakfast. I would expect a counter with scramble eggs, sausages, bacon. They do have boiled eggs tho..
The staff is very friendly and very helpful. The bar of the hotel is great and the staff give great suggestions for the local beers. Location is great, just a 10 min walking to the Grad Place. Great value for money.

TurkeyIn the room, definitely need much more places to put your stuff (luggage, your personal stuff etc.) If you’re going to stay two people and you’ll have two different luggage unfortunately there no enough space to open your luggage. You stuck in the room. This is the only thing what I don’t like for the hotel.
Perfect location, good welcoming, cozy bed. If you stay in this hotel, you don’t need to use any other transportation maybe you can rent a bike that’s all. In the hotel there is a perfect bar and in the evening you should try here.

GermanyIt was honestly amazing, I was just missing a mini fridge in the room.
First of all, I really want to mention the employees, because they were extraordinarily friendly, kind and polite - a big thank you to them. The hotel is very stylish yet very comfortable. I think that I got a newly renovated room and it honestly felt brand new. The shower is beautiful and really big and the bed is super comfortable. I also liked that you are able to open the window to let in fresh air. The location of the hotel is perfect. There is a supermarket right across the street and many sights as well as the Grand Place are just a short walk away. Also, the area felt safe to me. The breakfast and the bar area are super stylish yet cozy - I really like the design. And the food and drinks were very good. The prize for the breakfast buffet is fair (16,50€ per Person). I was missing a warm dish or two (besides the eggs), but the food was good and the croissants were simply delicious.

Room is great overall; clean, spacious enough and good amenities. Location is great, not too centric so not crowded but very close to everything. Breakfast was great, big selection and much better priced than places in the center.

HungaryThere was no glass in the room which was a bit uncomfortable…..hard to take your medication or have a sip of water without it. There was no minibar so you can’t even buy something to drink.
Very good location, almost everything is within walking distance. The hotel has a stylish design and friendly staff. The breakfast was also good.
