Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

GreeceUnfortunately we had a young noisy couple as neighbors who came to the room at midnight and started to cheer and laugh, which kept us awake. We had to knock on their door to ask to lower their voices. It might be advisable that the hotel management stresses to the costumers to be careful in the corridors and the room especially late at night. The room was chilly and the bed cover was too thin to keep us warm. The choice of food at the restaurant is very limited. They don’t even have a salad on the menu.
The room is small but fitted out in a practical way and with style. Even though near the airport , we did’t hear overflying planes. The staff was friendly and accommodating . Very convenient to get to the airport either by bus or many taxis and uber around. They offer water at the entrance near the reception, it would be nice if they could also offer hot drinks such as coffee and tea.

GermanyThe bedrooms could use an overhaul, the carpet had a big stain. The lighting in the bathroom is not great and a makeup mirror would be really useful as would more shelf space for bathroom cosmetics etc. the doors close very loudly.

It was a business trip and we were very close to the office we needed to go, also the hotel is a 10 min drive from Brussels airport. The main area was very nice, the staff was amazing.

Costa RicaGetting there by bus can be tricky as you have to walk through parking lots to get there. Rooms and common areas look old and worn out . Room had an old portable heater that was super noisy and had to open the window. I stayed in penthotel in leuven and was expecting something similar, but I was disappointed and didn't meet my expectations at all. TV didn't work
