The surrounding construction site is unsightly but that is temporary. A visionary poster or model of what is to come might be helpful in explaining the reason for the temporary unsightliness. No complaints at all with the hotel.

I liked everything about this hotel. It was the most hospitable, comfortable and high standard place in its class that I have ever experienced. I was a little unsure about it but had my expectations exceeded. The suite was spacious and totally fit for purpose for a degree of self sufficiency but with all the 5 star options if required. I have no hesitation in recommending the Residence Inn Marriott Ghent.

As I said the bed was a bit high for us. I am a wheelchair user so the level of the bed is very important for me to be replaced comfortably from the wheelchair to the bed. Anyway, we coped with it but it would have been bette if it had been lower.r

Everything was just perfect! But the bed was very high and for my mum it was rather difficult to replace me from the wheelchair to the bed. It was just a minor disappointment, all the rest was just wonderful! Thank you very much!!!

View into "courtyard" was not exceptional and it was €19 to park in the open air. Only 2 sachets of coffee and 2 creamers

Beautiful room with great facilities and a King sized bed. Friendly staff. Decent restaurant on site. The TV even had UK channels. It was very dog friendly. There was a kitchen area with fridge, sink and oven. There were coffee making facilities too, plus an iron and hair dryer. Very close to main routes.

The bus to the city centre doesn't drive on weekends.

Big room, Well equipped kitchenette, comfortable bed. A cot for our baby was ready, even if we booked last minute. It was perfect value for money!

Funny elevator voice, you'll know it when you hear it. People were laughing in the elevator when they reached their floor. Location is a bit far from the center. There's a bus stop near the hotel, but you have to change the bus once to get to the city center. Maybe get an uber/bolt. Nothing else negative to say about the hotel really.

Excellent breakfast with many options to choose from. Friendly and helpful staff. Great parking on site with plenty of space, costs 19 Euro per night. Big room, clean toilet. TV with plenty of options to choose from / french, british, german, american TV. And they all worked, which is pretty rare for a hotel.

I didn't like the fact that the parking was not an option in the nearby streets and therefore we were forced to pay the parking spot at the facilities

Breakfast was good, a lot of options to choose, everything I tasted was delicious. Also, the room was perfect. Big, clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable and huge. The bathroom was clean and the shower was great, comfortable and clean. Generally speaking, everything was great

Could have used a coat and umbrella hanger in the room with all the rain, but other than that it was all good.

Location was great for being close to the office and very nice that it also offered a small kitchen to cook my own food if necessary. Made it feel more like home.
