NetherlandsI was surprised ( not in a good way) that they would fine you for leaving dishes in the dishwasher and all sorts of other penalties they could impose as they ask for a substantial security deposit beforehand, also, paying for your electricity, is something I have not encountered before, and then the resort is not value for money after all

France- Complex way to pay for the deposit in advance and Difficult to get the deposit back (I did even not know I will have to give a guaranty deposit and to pay for electricity when booking). - toilets not clean at all ! - bath access and exit very difficult and dangerous and not recommended for old people - door stopper in the middle of the living-room. Ouch my toes ! - strange way to put roof lights… on the wall. - very soft bed - come with your food, there is absolutely nothing around to feed the fridge
- Quiet - nice modern looking place at first sight - well equiped - micro wave and hoven (without instructions for use). - 1h from Spa Francorchamps track on the opposite way as all other people go when leaving the circuit. Good idea !

NetherlandsThe bathtub under the roof,I got some blue spots from hitting the baterry abd my tall husband hit his head multiple times. Needs modernising. Didn't like that they charge deposit and you pay for the usage of the energy, also didn't like the whole 3 page check in sistem, who has time to read all that ?? Make an account etc weird too weird You also pay for cleaning , is included in the price, but you have to clean it yourself and take the gardbage with you,, really weird, otherwise you get a fee. We didn't have a dishwasser and would have been nice to have it. The check out times are too constraining, only from 9 to 10 and u have to stay in the queque. Check out time is ridiculous, only to 10 indtead of 12!! It messes up your morning because u have to wake up early and clean .

BelgiumHouses are not very old but after a closer look, they look very tired. Modern interior try to hide construction issues and mold witch is the biggest problem. You can smell it and you can fill it. We couldn't sleep in our bedroom and we moved to living because of the smell. One of the toilets was even worse. But biggest problem are hidden costs. Rent price is just the beginning. Wood for fire place, sheets and towels, pets payment and electricity. Everything runs on electricity and that's quite standard in Ardennes, but 48c/kWh is just a robbery. Especially in the winter. Those things practicly dubble the price.
The best was the view, furniture and comfortable beds. Water was really hot. location was really good.

NetherlandsOne of the first red flags was when the receptionist instructed me to venture into a grimy and potentially hazardous electrical room to read the meter. This was not only unprofessional but also posed a safety risk. Additionally they instructed me on how to turn on the power in the electricity box in the room as well. The charge for electricity is €0,28p/kW so they have profit of it as well. The kitchen had no hot water, making meal preparation uncomfortable, and the shower only provided lukewarm water, far from the relaxing experience I had hoped for. Furthermore, the restriction on using the internet for streaming services like Netflix felt outdated and unnecessarily limiting. The hotel's strict rules were annoying, and asking questions only led to being told to read the rules again. Plus, despite stressing recycling, they only gave us one trash bin, which didn't make sense. Moreover, the kitchen utensils were not suitable for use on induction. The mattresses, while seemingly IKEA budget-friendly, were uncomfortably soft and offered little support for a good night's sleep. The promotional photos on the hotel's website did not accurately reflect the actual condition of the rooms, which were far from pristine and littered with notices and warnings. Furthermore, the imposition of hefty penalty fees, such as €40 for a lost key or accidentally slamming a door, felt excessive and punitive. Everywhere stickers about fees!

Normally it all should be informed and done through Booking.com but... Property is OK but the service is really bad.

After you pay the price on booking.com they don’t tell you that once you arrive you’re charged an extra €270 at check-in which you’re supposed to get back at the end but they only returned me €78 also you have to pay for your own electric/gas, and there is no towels and bed sheets! The room I was given was in poor condition the toilet flush was broken, the bed covers looked dirty with black marks, there was dust and spiders and for 3 days straight the internet was down with no person/receptionist on site to help.

!!!SCAM!!! Do NOT stay at this property. The price they quote for the stay is absolute false advertising. Not only do they not provide sheets, towels, or toilet paper, they also charge you for the electricity you use. They hold your deposit for two weeks and charge you the highest price during those two weeks. There was even a clock on the wall, but you have to bring your own battery to make it work.

PhilippinesWhere do I have to start , first of all when you looking for an hotel , it's not an hotel . You need to pay extra for towels , you need to pay extra for bedlinen, you need to pay for your electricity, you need to write down the rooms electricity meters ( 2 pc) yourself when you check in and when you check out . You also need to pay 240 euro deposit, that they will refund you 2 weeks later . So all and all I paid 450 euro including the deposit for 1 night stay . They have many add on the listed price . Really many , it's was not pleasant stay for us , like more stressful. You have to make up your own bed put the pillow case on your own. Spiderweb is also included. No shampoo or soap and even disposable toothbrush in the room. and bring also the bedlinen back when you check out . When you want hotel service, don't go there :) We used to stay in 3- 4 star hotels on our holiday in Belgium . This was the only experience we will not forget :) all the rest in Belgium was perfect 👌
