Long waits for staff to turn up at reception. We were given an attic room with space constricted by low, sloping roof/ceilings -constant risk of concussion!

The swing doors to the bathroom were inconvenient and potentially dangerous. The music from the restless very loud and continued until midnight even though the restaurant was closed

Good but noisy restaurant

The breakfast was ridiculously priced at €28 per person. I travel a lot internationally and this is on par with major hotel chains in major cities. Too high for Durbuy in my opinion. Just include the breakfast in the room price and make it reasonable instead of à la carte. We decided to skip breakfast and ate elsewhere both mornings. The room had a safe, which unfortunately was only big enough for a smartphone, keys, wallet, etc. A tablet or laptop would not fit. This was a disappointment and resulted in my carrying my laptop around for 2 days in my backpack. The also had no airco, which was surprising in an 'upscale' recently renovated hotel. With tropical heat this week we were provided with a nice tower fan, but I did not expect this and it was disappointing.

Easy check-in and convenient parking in a nice garage. It is part of the newly renovated Hotel Sanglier, which sets a nice quality standard for Durbuy. The room was nicely sized and furnished very modern and chic. Spacious, well-appointed bathroom. The hotel is on the main square in Durbuy, which gives it some panache. Friendly, helpful staff.

We booked dinner in the restaurant - food was superb - only complaint was that restaurant staff were not that interested in us. Had to keep asking them for service…salt, pepper, bread, bill - no attention to our table and we were polite! So that was a shame. If service was better we would have eaten there again.

Hotel was central, very smart, room clean and as we expected. Room was also quiet. Bed comfy and I loved the curtains! Hotel staff were very helpful and accommodating. Very happy and would stay again. Durbuy was amazing.

The staff could barely speak English. The restaurant takes a long time to serve the food, but it was so worth it (the food was super tasty).

Wonderful view from one of the room’s balcony. The restaurant serves wonderful food. Each room is decorated in one style and they’re all very pretty. The location is superb.

Administration is a mess: I received by now 7 e-mails asking me to check in online. 2 of these e-mails were after my stay. I have mailed about it and told the lady at the reception, but they keep coming. In addition the invoice was wrong.

Location was good, rooms were good. However, my brother's room was right above a bar and he had noise from that bar.

We needed to go to another hotel for check out and I didn‘t know. I contacted by a phone set in the entrance of the hotel, but nobody answered and needed to call several times. When I called first time, said the staff will come soon, but nobody came and 2 nd time when I reached the staff, she said I have to come to another hotel for check out. I wasted 30mins for that.

We had the room with the ensuite bubble bath (for 2 persons) which was truly a delight! Wonderful room. Hotel is located at the main square and they have their own carpark. So location is good, service as well, all the facilities you need are there, so you are good to go for a 2 day stay in cute Durbuy.

- There was nobody on reception during our arrival. We had to wait over 25 minutes so then decided to take our room keys ourselves from behind the desk. - We did self check in online to improve our stay. But what's the point in this when you have to wait for somebody on reception who is nowhere to be seen? - The noise and lack of darkness in the room. - The shower door is dangerous, should be replaced. - Very, very expensive.

The location was brilliant. The restaurants within the hotel were very nice too.

The parking was difficult to find and staff could not explain well in English (he shows opposite directions on map). The room is so hot and air conditioning is not working well.

The hotel is located city center and many restaurants surrounding it.

Very disorganized, no one at the reception. We wanted to have an upgrade to the suite, but once we entered the room, it was very dirty. It was clear that the bathtub had been used and not cleaned and there was even an open/used shampoo bottle next to it. There was a thick layer of dust everywhere. We then went back to our original room, which was a little bit better, cleaning wise, but not enough. You could clearly see handprints on the shower and on the bathroom door. The lady that helped us at the reception was also our waitress at the downstairs restaurant and she was rude.

Great location, bedroom had a mini bar and a Nespresso machine, and it was pet friendly.
