How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Location is excellent -- very close to the Central Station and the Grand Place. It is also convenient that they have onsite parking for guests who are travelling by car.

The entry needs better illumination/indication. It is difficult to find at night when checking in the first time. After 10PM the front door is locked and it is difficult to see there is an intercom to press. The larger room is big enough for additional seating which would be helpful. Two small chairs were a bit minimalist. Please consider adding directions as to which exit to take from Central Station to your website.
Purchased larger room which was very spacious. The room was well outfitted with accessories. The staff was extremely helpful and delightful. Highly recommend the upgrade to the larger room.

We had an internet problem because of the construction works, I guess, around the hotel, which was a temporary bother and not the fault of the property of course. It was working properly in the first place.
Perfect location, friendly staff (special thanks to Karim for warm welcoming), comfortable and cozy rooms.

The neighborhood is going through construction but not the hotels fault.
We had the 2 king bed 2 room accommodation and it was huge. The shower was fantastic. The beds were so comfortable.Best room we had our entire stay in Europe for 2 weeks. The staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful especially Yenti. Would absolutely stay there again.

The hotel is spotless since you enter it, the rooms were very clean, modern, and have all the toiletteries and services required. Staff was always friendly and helpful, would stay again in any other city

HVAC was iffy. Was hard to cool the room adequately
Good sized room with mini fridge. Bath was also good sized and had a large shower area. 5 minute walk from all the cool stuff you want to do and very close to Centraal station for trams, trains, to anywhere you are coming from or going to.

Great location! Buffet breakfast was fine. Room was comfortable except we couldn't couldnt turn on the AC so the room was very warm at night.

I would definitely stay at this hotel again. The bed and pillows were very comfortable the staff was professional and very kind. I enjoyed the breakfast and the food at the hotel. Excellent all the way!

Everything was great.
Good location nearby the St Michael and St Gudula Cathedral although not near to central market, the room was comfortable and well set. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of food choices and the staff more than accommodating to our needs.

I can genuinely not think of a single thing to complain about. It's just all great.
10/10. Everything was great! The location is fantastic, a 2 minute walk from the train station, couple of minutes walk from all the interesting areas in Brussels. The hotel is beautiful, the room is very large and comfortable, the quality of everything was evident. It felt very upscale. Breakfast and restaurant meals were delicious too.

The front desk personnel is amazing! With great, helpful attitude, they create such a warm, welcoming atmosphere, yet very professional and gives nice suggestions on where to eat or buy chocolate, very important-:) The hotel itself is comfortable, clean, in great location, and the room was very quiet. And, of course, the pillows and mattress are very comfortable. Also, the hotel's restaurant has a very tasty menu and great service. We liked everything at this place and will return.

Location was excellent, being only 5 minutes walk from Brussels Centrale train station. Need to have the station close by as a lot of day trips. There was a lot of construction around the station making it a bit tricky to navigate. Room was nice and the staff very pleasant

Beautiful decor and very clean hotel with a very friendly staff. The actual pillows were the best and most comfortable I’ve ever experienced. The food at the restaurant and breakfast were also superb.
